Qur’an is a scripture “God’s message and revelation to the human race that by time became a written book” that was send not only for a certain place or certain time, but to everyplace and every time. The closest meaning to the word Qur’an is recite and yet, it is still doesn’t have the same meaning in Arabic. The Qur’an was reveled in Hijaz. Hijaz is the old name of Arabia that covers Mecca and Madina. Qur’an is God’s words reveled to Prophet Muhammad by angel Gabriel.
This topic got my attraction because of many reasons, but mostly because that the Qur’an itself is considered to be a miracle till our day. The Qur’an is considered to be a miracle since the day it was revealed because it was revealed to the prophet Muhammad who is considered to be illiterate. Qur’an was reveled in Arabic language to the people that excelled in the language itself, and yet they were shocked. In that time, people knew that this is a miracle and god’s message, but for them to protect their gods, power, and business they claimed that the prophet Muhammad is a magician and insane.
Qur’an is not only miracle by its language, but also by its stories. Qur’an mentioned the best of stories. Qur’an has two types of stories. The first type is prophets and messengers and what happened to their people. For instance, the story of Mosses and the Pharaoh, the story of Jesus, the story of Yousef, the story of Noah, the story of prophet Muhammad, and many others. The second type is about individuals and groups. For example, the story of Mosses with the good man, the story of the elephant group, and many others. Qur’an has two ways of telling a story. Either by reported narration of the events, or by dialogue story telling. For instance, the story of Yousef is considered to be a reported narration of events, while the story of mosses and the good man is considered to be a dialogue story. These stories were mentioned in Qur’an because of a reason which is for us to learn the morals and not to do the same mistakes.
For many Muslims society, Qur’an is considered to be a guidance book or a way of living. Qur’an teaches us many morals and good manners that we should do. For instance, not to cheat in anything, help people, be good to our neighbors, and many others.
Because of Islam’s holy book, The Qur’an revolved a lot around the sacred language, Arabic, which was very beneficial for trade. Since the text in The Qur’an was in Arabic, it helped spread language, religion and culture when people traded it (Outside Source: Spread of Islam Background Reading Packet). This helped spread Islam because a lot of people read it, they may have thought of the same way and told themselves that they should become and adherent (Adherent: “Sticking to” or “ Having Faith in”) to Islam (Doc
The Islamic Caliphates worshipped the Quran which was a religious text which the Islamic Caliphates believe is a religious text from God.

Miracles are often defined as an event that is unbelievable and unexpected, it can be a series of events and it is usually believed to be caused by godly powers or by unexplainable powers because it doesn’t follow the rules of nature. People who believe in miracles are often people of religion, because they believe its caused by the God they worship whereas people of no religion or strong scientific knowledge would either try to interpret these events with scientific causes or would not even consider them as events but rather as a delusion or events that are made up and had never took place.
Miracles, the sea parted to let the israelites go through, lazarus raised from the dead, fire falling from the sky.The Bible tells about such wonders, and we see them as interventions from God, showing of His power over all of creation, and proof of His sovereignty. We are amazed by them. But the unbelievers will see things differently. They will despise and laugh it all off as myth, as something belonging with the league of fairy tales.

The religion must provide an argument to convince people to convert, provide a counter argument to combat the oppositions to itself to stand as an argument, and present itself in a way where the reader is convinced that the argument is solid and drives home the point. Much like how the Lodhi Gardens move a person to explore its inside, the Qur’an is a way for the Islamic faith to draw in people to convert to its religion. By comparing the two, the beauty of their arguments presents itself in two different ways. The Lodhi Gardens is aesthetically beautiful from its architecture and the artwork of the inscriptions of the Qur’an on the wall. Meanwhile, the Qur’an’s words are what makes it beautiful by having a solid argument that convinces readers to buy convert, which has lasted from the creation of this religion to now, still converting people to join the Islamic
A miracle is often defined as being a supernatural act or an act of God. Sometimes it is more specifically and negatively defined as a violation of a natural law. In philosophy class we discussed different philosophers views on miracles. David Hume’s critique of miracles included the criterion that for something to be deemed a miracle, there must be substantial group of credible witness to attest to its occurrence. Hume believes miracles do not exist. If something of the supernatural does happen it is not really supernatural it is part of nature, we just don not experience it often so we consider it to be supernatural or a miracle. Kant believes miracles have no role to play except in the rise and spread of a religion. Kant says miracles have no role to play in validating a religion since the truth of religion can be supplied by reason alone. The difference between Kant and Hume is that Kant resists the idea that miracles are a violation of the laws of nature and considers them to be outside of the laws of nature.
Islamic beliefs were expressed in various primary texts during the Middle Ages, such as the Qur’an and the Hadith. The Qur’an and the Hadith are two Islamic texts that portray many examples of social and gender hierarchy that were present during this time. The Qur’an, to Muslims, contains the exact words of God. It is believed that the angel Gabriel spoke God’s words to Muhammad, who later recited them. The
Faith and imagination is all about truth and the belief in a higher power beyond man himself. Faith and imagination binds the power of God’s existence. However, in lack of evidence and that which is unforeseen; consequently, if we know the value of life and understand that which is right and wrong; it truly acknowledges God’s presence among us. when people reference a “miracle” has happened; most people that hold faith as a powerful source don’t just assume the miracle came out of nowhere without some concept of a divine attribute connected to faith. A miracle is not an act based purely on a violation of natural law, but an act of God’s law and his true existence. And if man is to find his true purpose of his existence and fulfilling his life, he must adopt faith and reason.
Islam is the religion for about a fifth of the world’s population and is continually growing in numbers. The people who believe in Islam, are called Muslims. It is a religion full of peace, mercy, and forgiveness (Basic facts about). Islam was founded in the 7th century AD by the prophet Muhammad. Muhammad was 40 years old when the angel, Gabriel, revealed God’s message to him. He received this message for the next twenty-three years. Muhammad memorized the message and revealed it to his companions, who wrote it down word for word. This became knows as “The Quran”, a record of what was exactly said to Muhammad by Go through Gabriel during the twenty-three years (Bulletin).
Religion is an important factor in many lives in today’s society. A particular western religion that is taken very seriously by many is known as Islam. Essentially, Islam means “submission”, or in other words a person is to abide by God and peace will follow. In order to comprehend the Islamic religion, it is consequential to view the major themes associated with this religion. By going through the central themes of Islam it could help others comprehend what is involved with this specific religion.
Indeed, the most important text in the Islam is the Holy Quran. Muslims translators believe that they have to translate it in order to spread the massage. As well as, it will show how principles of Islamic faith reflect the word choices in the target language (Khosravi, Pourmohammadi, 2016, p.151). Religious translation has an important role in spreading holy texts' message. The importance of Religious translation is to guide people of different languages and cultures. Quran is the complete epitome of Islam which truly defines what the jest and central idea of the Islam what Islam offers and what it requires from its worshippers and what Allah offers in this and the hereafter. The greatest qualities which helps to gain Allah’s mercy and those which annoys him are mentioned in the Quran in detail. A lot of miracles bestowed upon the prophets of Allah have been mentioned in the Quran which only highlights the importance of the Quran. Our Holy Prophet S.A.W.W has been bestowed the miracle of the Quran which just highlights its beauty and power. The greatness of the Quran is even more prominent due to the fact that it hasn’t changed throughout the centuries. The Quran is also written in very clear and understanding
The Qur’an mainly reflects on their God Allah and their messenger Muhammad. It relays the rules and messages Allah wanted his people to follow. Similar to the Christian Bible, which many Americans follow, it is a way of life that relaxes many and gives a reason to believe in something bigger than yourself. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and their own beliefs. Although a majority of the Qur’an is used for prayers and beliefs of Allah, there are many signs of violence among it as well. In the beginning of each chapter in the Qur’an, the first line always reads: “In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful”, which is referring to Allah and how they praise him each time before reciting their prayer. Throughout the Qur’an we see how influential this figure is over this religion and how much respect and belief they have in Allah. From all of the forgiveness he gives them to believing in their religion God always rewards them when they follow his word. They will do what it takes for their Gods strength, love, forgiveness and
