Recommended: What it means to be a Christian athlete essay

This past summer, I had the opportunity to join Uncharted Waters and travel to Oklahoma City and Medford to teach kids about Jesus while developing their athletic abilities. I planned the curriculum and explained it to the campers and the volunteers. The purpose of Uncharted Waters is to show the volunteers how a camp needs to be run, so I made sure to communicate with the volunteers and get them involved. I also taught dance moves for the worship music to all the members of the camp. This took extensive practice, but by the end of the week every child and volunteer knew all of the words and dance moves to the songs.
Not only did the children and volunteers get exposure to Jesus from the songs and the way the Uncharted Waters team ran sports

    Back in my high school, one day out of the month was dedicated to student-led clubs. On these so-called club days, most kids will go to any club just to get out of class. Some exclusive clubs, such as the Chess club, would look down on this. The corporate for Sea World is as corrupt as Illinois politicians. This is not a joke. They purposely injure their whales and put their trainers in danger. When questioned in court, they hire very good attorneys to lie and help them avoid charges by presenting false and misleading evidence. They accomplish all of this while cutting themselves a very big paycheck. Sea World needs to be shut down, and the public needs to become aware of the atrocities that have and are still occurring.
