Through missions we can bring many lost people to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. There are so many different ways to do so all around the world. Sometimes life as a missionary can be very difficult. One of the things that makes being a missionary so difficult is the language barrier. Having to learn a whole new language and adjust to completely different customs could make life very hard. "Missionary Interview." I believe that no matter what the circumstances or the difficulties, being a missionary is one of the greatest things you can ever do. You can travel the world, help others, promise them an eternal life through Christ, but most importantly you’re fulfilling God’s plan that he has laid out for you. There are so many beautiful countries to chose from, so many amazing mission agencies, but equally importantly you’re following God’s plan. God’s call to missions is prominent in St.Lucia with Global Outreach International.
To begin with, Matthew 28:18-19 states The Great Commision, which tells us where to go and what to do once we get there. A main goal for missionaries is to try to make “disciple-making” people within the people groups"Countries and Their Cultures." “African slaves can be quite difficult to share the gospel with which makes it hard for missionaries in St. Lucia because the main people group is African slaves. Jesus’s call to make disciples of all nations in Matthew 28 has been the lifeblood of the Church since post-resurrection commission. The Great Commission is what brought the gospel from the Middle East to America. The faithfulness of past saints is evidenced by the multitude of believers on every contentment of the globe. Adoniram Judson was one of those faithful saints. Judson faithfully obeyed the call of Christ to preach the gospel to all nations by taking the gospel to Burma and he suffered greatly to proclaim the gospel. The entirety of the New Testament is characterized by suffering. Whether the sufferings of Christ, of Paul, or of the early church. This suffering is promised to those who will faithfully proclaim the message of death to all those who are experiencing spiritual death. Judson’s love for the Burmese people drove him to suffer for the cause of Christ by packing up his wife onto a ship to move to a foreign land so that these people might now Christ.

The most important task you can do as an ambassador for Christ, is to spend time hanging out with God yourself. Even if it cuts into time that you wanted to spend in "ministry." Spending some time enjoying God's presence, aware that God is enjoying yours at the same time, will do more for those around you, than any words you could work up. If you have a sense of intimacy with Christ, you will be able to do more than just talk about God.
Without this theology, not only the believer, but the missionary has no foundation to build upon. Believers in general, but especially missionaries must prepare themselves through prayer in order to lead churches to preach and teach the Word of God. Paul tells us in 1 Timothy that those that labor in preaching and teaching” should be considered worthy of double honor. (1 Tim. 5:17) This is important because Christian’s understanding their role as a believer, or again even more importantly, the role of a missionary is extremely vital in advancing God’s kingdom. Winter and Hawthorne rightly say in our text that “If we in the West insist on keeping our blessing instead of sharing it, then we will, like other nations before us (Israel, Rome, etc) perhaps have to “lose” our blessing in order for the remaining nations to receive.” Although there are times in today’s world that may seem like the world has turned their backs on God, Christian’s should look with great anticipation for the days that are coming when God will reclaim the earth and believers will be redeemed. In the Dominican Republic, there is a great need for education, and financial support for poor families. Providing the people with a good education, and teaching a trade to the head of the household could help to solve these needs drastically. Not only this, but the service project could be used to be a good witness for Christ to these people. A service project to the Dominican Republic could not only solve the lack of education, and help impoverished families for a short time, it could provide a long-term solution, and benefit this nation greatly.
Although, I had the completely wrong view. I learned that a person is a person regardless of a person's social status or by what they do or don't have. I also realized that even though a mission trip is meant to help those in need, I needed missionaries myself. I realize that even though we help the kids at the Ruidoso orphanage, I feel like they helped me shape who I am as a person in a dramatic way. Whether it was by feeding us lunch to playing a game of soccer with us, they positively affected my life in a huge mental way.
I grew up in a home with a family that attend church weekly and was active in the church family. I knew about God and about His son but I never remember the story of salvation and the personal need for a savoir. As a teenager I walked away from the religion that I thought did not offer my anything. In my thirties, my husband was diagnosed with cancer and I immediately started my negotiations with God. Little did I know that He was not a negotiator but it was during this time in my life that I needed God more than He needed me. Since accepting the gift of God’s love, the salvation of a Savoir, and the renovation of my heart, I look to God for the path of my life. I share Gods truth through my career change to a Christian nob-profit that’s vision is to share God’s love to the community through the platform of pregnancy care and family services. Personally I have fulfilled God’s call to help the less fortunate by adopting a sibling group and participating and supporting mission trips to third world countries to support his children and missions there. My final piece of God’s plan I feel lead to complete is to volunteer my professional expertise and finances to work with a mission group that provides laboratory services to third world mission hospitals. The missionary expansion and their work within different nations is a dilemma of well intentions versus prosperity and power. Many missionaries remained out of politics and out of local culture and only served the communities for the better. They increased educational opportunities and provided medical care; most importantly they served to ensure the communities could actively participate in the international community. While the government and businesses reaped the rewards of increased prosperity and power, these rewards were in many ways not the purpose of missionary expansion but merely an outcome.

Evangelism is one of the key component for changing people’s lives. McRaney states, “The word evangelism comes from a combination of Greek words for “good” and “messenger.” Evangelism involves bringing the goods. Kent Hunter reminded us that “when Christians witness, they tell how Jesus Christ has changed their own lives. The change in their own lives gives them the desires to share the Good News with others.” Christians must share their testimony to people and spread the gospel so that they can bring lost souls to Christ. God has commissioned every Christian to evangelize so that people will learn about Jesus Christ and accept Him as their personal savior. Matthew 28:19 states, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit”. Christians are required to spread the Gospel throughout the world and can no longer just attend church. Christians must plant seeds and water the seeds so that lost souls will be saved.
Different mission schools established and the primary goal was to these people to the Christian faith brought to repentance and to teach the children to read and write . Their approach was as the children could read and write , they could read the Bible and understand it better . This Christian -based education they received was mostly in English and has enabled them to live in peace and to act together with respect and have generally a better way of life among these people reflect .
