The second definition of the word help is to save or rescue, but the only one who needs “help” is the unborn child whose existence is threatened. Obviously if the only thing being “helped” is someone’s irresponsible nature then abortion is not a helpful tool, it is a destructive tool.
Abortion is not the way to achieve women’s empowerment in fact it cannot lead to women empowerment or equality. Equality in this case is an invalid point, females and asexual being are the only being that are capable of bearing children so therefore they are the only being capable of abortion, which means that there can be no comparison of equality because no other being is capable of this. Adoption is a great thing that allows people who cannot or refuse to handle the responsibility of an unexpected child then this option allows them to give the child to someone who can and wishes to. At the most you are slightly inconvenienced for maybe six months.
Children should be allowed to be loved born or not and it is wrong to deny them that, and deny other the chance to love them.
Potential people are still people and therefore do count, and do matter. This has more to do with the question of is the child alive. The one aspect that prevents people from seeing that an unborn child is alive is the scientific definition of living things that states that living things must be able to reproduce ("Living Thing." - Biology-Online Dictionary). However, there is another scientific condition that states that if something has the potential to fulfill the criteria of a living thing then it is classified as a living thing and therefore the unborn child would be classified as alive making them “real people”. Even if the unborn are still potential people they are alive
guarantees but abortion offers no chances.” Abortion is a legal issue across the world that needs to come to an end. It is the killing of millions of innocent, unborn babies that do not have a say in this matter. You might ask yourself: what are the Catholic Church’s views on this matter, what are the similarities of abortion and murder, and what might be the long term effects after an abortion? These are all questions people will ask themselves when thinking about this matter. The Bible says
reason into his decision, also looks strictly at the numbers. Nietzsche also has his own views on pulling the lever to save your significant other. According to Nichomachean ethics, everyone is not morally equivalent. If circumstances and situations matters then not everyone is equal. Nietzsche describes “picking a price,” meaning you can’t treat all interests the same. If you believe in Nichomachean ethics you would decide that your significant other is more important than some other number of strangers

"What is 'right' and what is 'wrong,' what is 'good' and what 'evil'?" (182). In today's society, often times many people do not even consider this question before taking action. Morality has become a gray area in which morality can scarcely be defined. The right to life The article A Defense of Abortion written by Judith Thomson and the article Why Abortion is Immoral by Don Marquis deal with the arguments of whether abortion is moral, immoral, justified or not. The author Don Marquis wants to prove that abortion is immoral without taking into consideration extreme cases, while Thomson says that abortion is justified in some cases. The latter supports her arguments by saying that abortion is justified in cases such as rape and when the mother’s
Abortion: Right or Wrong? In the essay “On Mortality,” Joan Didion poses the question, “What is “right” and what is “wrong”?” (182) In today’s society, people do not usually consider the question at hand before they take action, because morality has become a topic that can scarcely be defined. For example, Merriam Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary defines mortality as “the quality of being in accord with standards of right or good conduct.” The brings up the fact that everyone has their own opinion
morality dictates that unless and until someone can prove the unborn human is not alive, we must give it the benefit of the doubt and assume it is (alive). And, thus, it should be entitled to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness." (Reagan, 1982) Abortion has been the biggest controversy of all time. Abortion is morally wrong and illegal because the fetus is a person. It is the same thing as murder. The reasons people have abortions are they are not ready to handle the responsibility of another human being, the fetus may have a birth defect, mother’s heath is an issue, rape, or simply because they don’t want any more children (Abortioninfo)
Why Abortion is Wrong Do you believe in a higher being? Well, I do and I believe that God made everyone in this world to live, and he made us all for a reason. You never know what that child could do, because you never even gave them a chance to live. Also, not only would it hurt the child, it would hurt you. Think about all the depression you could go through later on just thinking about the poor choice you made earlier in your life. Abortion is wrong because everyone is human and deserves
