The second definition of the word help is to save or rescue, but the only one who needs “help” is the unborn child whose existence is threatened. Obviously if the only thing being “helped” is someone’s irresponsible nature then abortion is not a helpful tool, it is a destructive tool.

As for empowerment, Tarico says “A woman who lacks the means to manage her fertility lacks the means to manage her life.” there are so many problems with this statement. The main problem however, is that a woman’s life may be unmanageable in terms of her fertility management but if her hormones and self-control are not intact leading to the fertility problem then she already “lacks the means to manage her own life”. Adoption is a great thing that allows people who cannot or refuse to handle the responsibility of an unexpected child then this option allows them to give the child to someone who can and wishes to. At the most you are slightly inconvenienced for maybe six months.
