The Process of Training an Upland Bird Dog

Is this really a way to treat mans best friend? Every one can make a change and this is how. Before having a puppy a owner must know what supplies to have for his/her puppy these supplies include, but are not limited to: two bowls, a bed, toys, puppy treats, puppy food, grooming tools, harness, and tag. Some of these supplies are not necessary but they are recommended. A dog tag and leach is one of the most important of them all because if someone finds a dog and it has a tag they will more then likely try to locate the owner and if a shelter finds them they will make sure to return them.

What makes these two dogs so similar is that they are two of the top most popular breeds here in the United States. It has been said that dogs is man's best friend, and because of this, it makes them great companions. These two breeds, the Boxer and the American Staffordshire terrier fit very easily into family life. When an owner tells his dog that he is a good boy, the dog happily wags its tail. Then, there are those times when an owner has to discipline his dog, the dog, then creeps away with that sad puppy dog look on its face.

A dog that sheds an excessive amount, has lingering health issues, or requires professional care may not be a desired fit for a busy or impoverished family. The temperament of the animal is also a large factor when deciding on a breed. A dog that is aggressive or easily frightened is not a favorable pet because a scared or provoked dog can potentially be dangerous or even deadly. Cattle Dogs The cattle industry in the past as well as today would be nothing without the help of man's best friend. Herding dogs are the best known working dogs. These unique dogs have an instinct to herd and with the right training will help a farmer or rancher move his herd without any trouble, as long as the dog is responsive to the ranchers hand signals and whistles. The best way to train a dog is to have it work along side an already experienced dog. They are keen, alert, responsive, and extremely intelligent.

Getting a puppy is beneficial but also costly and difficult at times. Before purchasing an animal you should really evaluate yourself to know if you are capable of maintaining one. Getting a puppy can be very beneficial, not only for you, but for the pup itself. They say a man’s best friend is a dog, and I can’t agree more. If trained right, they can be super loveable, cuddly, and energetic.

They bring us protection when we need protecting. But most importantly, dogs bring us loyalty and they are always there for us. Animals are miracle workers that can change a person's emotional and physical status for the better when there is no hope for life to get better.
