There are lots of different arts found in the world (for example, the catholic, Paleolithic, Hindus, etc…). One which captured most of my attention is the Islamic art. It’s not just the figure of its arts that amused me, but the way it was made, the history it created and it’s Perfection. Islamic art isn’t just a term to describe the art created specifically in the service of the Muslims, ( for example a masjid and its fittings) but it also symbolizes the art and architecture produced historically on the lands ruled by the Muslims. It is not only a religion but a way of life, by having their own artistic language that reflects their art and architecture. An Islamic art lets the artist and those who experience it get closer to Allah. As for Muslims, beauty will always be the quality of the great; it’s also represented in some sayings of the prophet Mohammed. The era of Islam forms an accurate beginning for the label of Islamic art; it first began in places like Syria, Jordan which have significant productions of unglazed ceramics that can be found in the louvre museum now. Something called the Dome of The Rock which basically describes the art of the Muslims sculpting on ceramic, for example Qasr Amra in Jordan or the arts in Syria. As the time passes by there is the medieval period which is from the 9th – 15th century, starting from Iran, but Irans Arabic art and central Asias art were discovered in the 10th century. The first empire to establish itself was in Spain (or Al-Andalus) by the Spanish Umayyads whose name came from the great Umayyads of Syria and after their fall the Spanish Umayyads were replaced. At the End of the 11th century two Berber tribes captured the head of Spain and Maghreb which brought Maghreb influences into art.
