Introduction

We want to learn more about the Olympic games because the Olympic games are soon we think the history of it is very interesting and important to learn. Also we want to learn the origin of the Olympic games and why they are invented and by who.

And we want to compare (with the info about the Ancient Olympic games and the modern games) which Olympic games where the best or the worst or the most dangerous. We want to learn why they like to do it and for what or who

We want to try to use more books, magazines and newspapers as source more than the Internet. And we hope we learn something what isn’t mentiont in our own questions.

Ancient Olympic Games

If you think of the Olympic games, you think of Vancouver, Sochi, Sydney, Peking etc. But the Olympic games at Olympia were the oldest and most important sporting events in Greece and still, they are very important all over the world.

The Olympic Games originated in 776 BC (according to ancient sources) in ancient Greece in In a city in southwestern Greece, called Olympia, This is were one of the most important things in the world happened .Olympia was seen as the most important sanctuary of the god Zeus, and the games were hold in his honour. Sacrifices and gifts were offered, and athletes took oaths to obey the rules before ...

It didn’t take a long time to make this paper because we made a schedule who had to make a chapter and it was very fun and learnfull because we learned almost everything about the ancient Olympic Games in Greece. We hope we can make another paper another time in the future this year or in other school years.
