Cystic fibrosis Before Nazi rule was implemented, the people of Germany were living in harsh conditions with the Treaty of Versailles, the Great Depression and the weakness of the Weimar Republic all having negative influences on the way that people lived. Due to these negative conditions, Adolf Hitler had the perfect opportunity to gain power along with his idea of a Totalitarian State. Hitler had intentions of improving Germany along with the quality of the life for most of its people. With these supposed improvements, Hitler’s enforcement of the Nazi Rule benefited Germany and the lives of the people in several ways, both economically and socially. One of the main policies that Hitler implemented was aimed at rearming Germany and getting the military set, however, Hjalamr Schacht, who was in charge of the economy had a policy of improving Germany’s trading position “He aimed to improve Germany’s trading position in the world and made a number of trade agreements with less developed countries.” (Hitler’s Dictatorship and the Third Reich). In order to maintain this power and control, Hitler implemented security system’s which could ensure that Nazi ideas and policies were enforced and remove any opposition, he did this through the SS and the Gestapo. The SS was a highly disciplined military corps which enforced heavy punishment on those who were known for a rebellion against Hitler’s ideas and concepts. Anyone who tried to uphold, change or disagree with Hitler’s rules, were prosecuted and questioned with torture. The Gestapo is very similar to SS. The Gestapo also enforced this same heavy punishment on those who wanted to or were rebelling against Hitler. These two services of Hitler, forced many people to agree with his ideas. Although the security system’s enforced people to follow Hitler, some people agreed with him due to the persuasion that Hitler supplied through propaganda. With the implementation of Hitler’s Nazi Rule, prosperity was increased and along with full employment “As soon as Hitler came to power, Hitler turned his attention to reducing unemployment and making the fullest possible use of the workforce” (Hitler’s Dictatorship and the Third Reich). He did this by reducing people’s right to choose the type of job they wanted and by organising people into the National Labour Service. The National Labour Service was put to work to build motorways and public buildings. Hitler also created the German Labour Front which had total control over workers in factories, mines, munitions, plants and shipyards. It regulated working times and set pay levels. The implementation of the Nazi Rule also allowed economic growth to occur through re-militarization. Due to the fact that Hitler wanted to re-grow his military, he enforced several policies to grow his German people into people ready for the conditions of war. He was basing the growth of the German people in a military area as he wanted more German people to join the military services and fight for Germany “He had already started to rearm Germany and now wanted to quicken the pace” (Hitler’s Dictatorship and the Third Reich). With Hitler getting Germany back on track, he wanted to start expanding German territories by regaining lost territories.
