Artificial intelligence has been an intriguing topic of the 21st century. Over the past decade, artificial intelligence has been growing exponentially. There is no doubt that this growth has had and will continue to have a significant impact on society. The foundation of artificial intelligence comes from the theory of computer systems being able to perform tasks that normally require, human intelligence, such as visual perception, speech recognition, decision making, and translation between languages. We must realize that AI is being created with the purpose of the betterment of society. So regardless of the negative impact, we will witness a vast array of benefits of AI. Researches believe that cyborg technology will significantly improve with the advancement of AI, in the future we will be able to augment ourselves with computers to enhance many of our own natural abilities. This technology can also be used by amputees as the brain will be able to communicate, through AI, with a robotic limp. AI will also help improve the standard of living by taking over the dangerous jobs, such as defusing bombs, welding, and deep space exploration. A highly intelligent can solve many world problems such as climate change, the AI would have more access to data than humans can ever compute, so one day using big data, AI could identify trends and use that information to come up with solutions to the world’s greatest problems. AI can also take also improve elder care for an aging world population, for most elders their daily life is a struggle and they need outside help to live their life. If this technology is developed, it could mean that big corporations can use this technology to manipulate the public. If artificial intelligence becomes able to detect emotions from humans, companies can use this tactic to make people believe that these robots care for them.
