Choose and focus on one negative consequence of globalization. Explain what the issue is, and why it is problematic for the world. Describe what you think should be done to improve this situation. Although globalization brings interaction of the world culture, the prevalence of the Western culture has caused negative impacts on many other cultures, especially in most of the developing countries, including the loss of traditional values to the society as a whole, and the loss of self-esteem to individuals as well.
For example, the Asian country, Kingdom of Bhutan (/buːˈtɑːn/ ), which is a sovereign state landlocked in the Eastern Himalayas in South Asia. Bhutan borders to China in the north and India to the south, east and west. Different cultures contributing their own uniqueness in some aspects to the world culture as a whole. Therefore, Nations and local governments need to issue policies and regulations in order to preserve the local culture, while the Western culture increasing its powerful influence worldwide. Besides it, Governments and local authorities need to initiate programs and provide aid and assistance to protect the traditional cultures that have been proven valuable. They need to raise the awareness to general public of the culture and self-identity issues that have brought by globalization, to encourage local organizations, NGOs, communities and individuals working together finding solutions to cope with the
