A Man For All Seasons, is a play by Robert Bolt. What would one expect a common man to expose the truth about A Man For All Seasons? It is a man- A common Man, who represents all the common people who are looked down upon. Bolt states in the preface of this play, that the Common Man had been planned to stipulate “that which is common to us all”(xix). The Common Man personifies the neutrality and entireness of the” Common people.” Bolt allows the reader to track which character the common man is playing by providing a different color hat for each character given. Although it seems that his role in the play is not significant, his roles increase in importance throughout the play to give the reader a better understanding of what Bolt is trying
The act of manipulation is a simple one, commonly seen throughout the daily lives of children, teenagers, and adults. The film The Last American Virgin, directed by Boaz Davidson, tells the story of three unique teenage boys who will stop at nothing to be with a girl. There are the hopeless romantic, Gary, the cool kid, Rick, and the classic wingman, David. Gary’s love at first sight, Karen, falls for his best friend Rick. Knowing he is a better man for her, Gary continues watching over her and fighting for her all while waiting for his chance. Once Rick finds out she is pregnant, he pushes her to the side; Gary swoops in and proves himself by supporting her and paying for her abortion. Even then, Karen, although grateful, could not mask her feelings for Rick that remained. Throughout the film, many characters continue to use each other for their own benefit. In The Morals of the

Many characters are introduced in the beginning of The Devil in the White City by Erik Larson. One character specifically made an impact within the story immensely. His name is DeWitt C. Cregier, the mayor of Chicago during the time frame of the non-fiction novel. We can conclude this because he was the man who appointed the committee that will band together to have the World Fair in Chicago.

Jane Eyre is a great book to read because the main character Jane is very relatable to girls of today, the characters develop very well and the narrative has many plot twist which make it very exciting and attention-grabbing.
