Roald Dahl’s life was not as happy as most people would think most people don’t know that he was more than just a writer. He was once a child, a husband, a father, and my hero. He left a trademark on our world with his books and he gave so much yet he got so little. Many people know Roald as a fantastic children’s writer. But he’s much more, he fought in WWII Got beaten as a child, had a father who perished, his sister and daughter had the same fate. Roald faced many challenges but still managed to be positive and an amazing write,which is a big impact on me and should be on everyone. Before roald was a great writer or had to keep his head held high or any of the other amazing things he did he was a child. At this time Roald faced many challenges, his father died when he was only 5 years old. His father had many challenges in his life, but 2 of the biggest were that as a boy when he was playing in a house that wasn’t yet built and he fractured his arm, his mother cried for help, the doctor arrived drunk, and he called a few strong men and the doctor screamed, “pull pull!”.
