On April 15th, 1452, in Anchiano Italy, a man of many wonders was born, Leonardo di ser Piero da Vinci. In Da Vinci’s(Leonardo Da Vinci) life, he truly did it all, he was a painter, sculptor, architect, inventor, military engineer and draftsman. Although there is not much to say about Leonardo’s early life, we do know that Da Vinci’s parents were not married when they had him. He was the out-of-wedlock son of the wealthy Messer Piero Fruosino di Antonio da Vinci, a Florentine legal notary. On the other hand Caterina, was considered a peasant in that period of time. His greatest contributions that involved Physics were the: Flying Machine, Parachute, Helicopter, a more improvised “clock”, and plenty of other contributions within the physics arena. When Da Vinci was in Milan, his greatest piece of artwork, and something that is still a very famous piece of artwork today was 'The Last Supper'. The Duke of Milan commanded Da Vinci to create as piece of work that had to do with the last meeting that the Twelve Apostles had with Jesus, where they soon betrayed him. This masterpiece, which took approximately three years to complete, captures the drama of the moment that this story describes. The range of facial expressions and the body language of the figures around the table bring the masterful composition to life. We learned from Giorgio Vasari, an Italian artist and author, that in the last days of Leonardo, he sent for a priest to make his last confession and to receive the Holy Sacrament. Vasari was one of Da vinci’s best friends. He stated that Da Vinci was a very religious man, an amazing person. and painter.
