In the united states recent studies and older research has shown us the true crime of our metropolitan cities across the nation. In the united states violent crimes seem to occur every 25.3 seconds as today. The rate of crime varies in gender, age and race throughout the nation and throughout the states that legalized abortion. There was a decrease of crime fell in a few states due to their legalization of abortion even before Roe v. Wade. In the united states there are different categories that contribute to crime for example gender, age, and race. In gender we see a higher crime rate with men statistically than any other category. Men are classified as hegemonic which means that the men masculinity depends on paid labor, women and the uncontrollable sexuality of men. Young men in the middle class demonstrate some of the characteristics of hegemonic masculinity through their success. The crime these categories show happen outside of school through vandalism, petty theft and heavy drinking. While working class white males do not do so well in school as the middle class white male. The working class males are seen to construct their masculinity around physical aggression and antisocial behavior. Lower working class men from non white groups such as from ethnic minorities have little expectations of educational success and a secure and stable employment to assert their masculinity and most times try to promote their masculinity by joining local streetgangs hence more crime due to men in such rural areas. The lower working class will turn to robbery and serious property crime. Even decent middle class men who are able to have the hegemonic lifestyle use crimes to express the masculinity while the success in education is not enough for them. White collar and corporate crimes in facilities are not only ways for the individual to benefit from the organization it is to establish
