The Changing Ways of the Internet Computers and other devices like them, such as smart phones, are a necessity in everyday life. This is all because these devices connect to the internet. The internet has opened new doors that people in the past only dreamed would be possible. In order to adapt to these changes humans must alter the way that they think and act. Humans will have to change the way that they interact with other people. The way that information is searched for will certainly need to be changed. They must also have to start thinking about new ways to protect themselves and their information from the dangers of the internet, and people who abuse the power of the internet. In these ways humans lives will change until some kind of new technology comes along. The internet has made it possible to communicate with just about anyone who has access to it. However, on the internet people can get into arguments over different beliefs, ideas, or just about anything. An example is when people playing video games on the internet start arguing because one of them is losing. According to Sheridan (2010) a man living in close to Cambrai, spent six months tracking a man who killed his character in a game called “Counter-Strike.” The assailant, whose name is Julien Barreaux, found the man who killed his character, drove to the man’s house, and stabbed him with a kitchen knife, not fatally.
