Of the visit
The aim of our investigation was that we get enough information about the company so that we can make our report of at least 15 pages. But also an aim was that we know more about the company it self. And I think we get enough information to make this report.
Operating procedure:
Wednesday the 17e of November we were invited at the company Goss Contiweb. After a tour through Goss Contiweb we asked our questions to Evert an important employee of Goss Contiweb.
Choice of the company:
We couldn’t choose the company ourselves, because the teacher “Hans Steenman” did that. He did that because, he knows things better and he knows where the IBS students were doing their work placement.
When I heard that our company was Goss Contiweb and that Ilhan was our IBS student, I was happy because I know who Ilhan is, so it was more comfortable for me to go to the company.

In 1885, two brothers, Fred and Sam Goss founded The Goss Printing Press Company.
The Yeti Rambler has taken off where it’s more expensive and luxurious brethren, the Yeti cooler, has left off. The explosion of demand for this particular cup is due to its highly engineered design, which features 18/8 stainless steel material and a double walled vacuum insulation, which keeps a drink hot or cold twice as long as plastic cups (“Frequently asked questions”, n.d.). The cutting edge cup also features a gasket lid that locks beverages inside of the cup, allowing one to move freely without fear of spilling (“Frequently asked questions”, n.d.). Saporito (2016) narrates the Yeti Coolers story as it was started in 2005 by Ryan Seiders and his brother Roy Seiders as a way to provide premium coolers
Once an organization develops a mission statement, the next step in strategic planning is to align the company’s goals. The goals for a business should reflect the vision and mission of an organization, as well as assist in achieving the overall purpose of the company. Establishing organizational goals promotes the business’ mission and specifies the focus in which staff members should implement in day to day operations.
EFFICIENCY is achieved through wise use of human and financial resources; and COMMITMENT to intellectual achievement is embraced.
68). These goals and objectives in turn result in the organization achieving its mission along with its vision statement (Yale University, 2012, p. 1).
To employ our technical and human resources with optimum efficiency, we must ensure that managers are carefully selected, appropriately trained, and work together to achieve our long-range goals.
The managers must set organizational goals aligned with the company mission. This will provide a strategy for achieving those goals. For example, planning can be seen at every level such as creating goals for sales as well as for the customer experience (Higgins, 1994).
1a) The purpose of any organization is best described from a customer’s point of view. Without a satisfied customer base a company will not survive. The purpose of company is to provide a product or service, this product or service provides a direct benefit or capability to the customer in which you are interacting with. The purpose explains why the company is in existence, it also should explain what business or sector the company is servicing and what business or sector that the company is not involved in. For example, Apple provides products and services in the technology sector. They manufacture products and have various services within their brand that they market. By having a direct purpose a customer should be able to verify that Apple
All children in America have the right to a quality education. Most students receive that education through conventional means, going to a public or private school. There is another option for today's children, home schooling. Home schooling is a controversial issue. While it does have its benefits, some people believe it has too many downfalls to be an effective method of education. In this paper, topics such as academic impact, social impact, and parental opinions of home schooling will be discussed.
Thesis Statement: Homeschooled students often achieve higher academic success and are more active in their communities than traditionally schooled students, due to a personalized approach to learning that emphasizes individuality.

Homeschooling is receiving instruction of education in a place other than an established school. Some parents feel if they keep their children at home, they can minimize the chance that harm can happen. Other parents feel that they know their child best and can utilize personal strengths to work on educational needs. In the past, religion was the leading cause of parents who chose home schooling, now days this does not necessarily hold true.

When setting goals, decide clearly on what is desired to be attained and involve employees when setting business goals. Write down the exact goals in the order of their importance and include the dates it will be accomplished. While these goal-setting techniques may seem like common sense, it is amazing how few people use them. However, when the most successful business-people are asked how they attain their goals, they will state the importance of setting specific and attainable goals, setting their own goals, and practicing positive affirmations. So if we are to join the ranks of the successful people, we must learn to practice these goal-setting techniques every day.
