The towering Dutch professional soccer player, Johan Cruyff, once said, “Soccer is simple, but it is difficult to play simple.” I first became interested in sports when I was 11 years old playing soccer in a local youth league in the city. Soccer is a competitive sport where diligent work demands from oneself. For example, soccer is a great sport that anyone can get involved with and have fun playing. To become an advanced player, one needs to start early and work diligently. My family encourages me to play sports. They were a driving force behind my success as a soccer player. For example, my family understood that growing up, if I could not live out my dream of attending a public university, I wanted to become a professional soccer player for a European team in Spain called FC Barcelona. I believe that appreciating a sport is worth living, and that belief helps me create the fact. For example, the two components to the success of any athletic player are being focused and determined to carry out a win in a match. Sports’ is a part of my life because it helps me become mature and calm on my goals to be achieved. I like the competitive nature of playing or watching a sport. My favorite memory of sports is when a professional team wins a trophy. A trophy is an award for an achievement in sports because it shows the success of one’s performance in a competitive league. For example, soccer is a popular sport in Europe and is considered the most beautiful game in the world by many people. Sports’ are helpful in improving the history and culture of shaping oneself in society. My worst memory of sports is when I experienced an injury.
