"The Incredible Hulk" is no doubt an ideal version of the Hulk saga for those who found Ang Lee's "Hulk" (2003) too talky, or dare I say, too thoughtful. But not for me. It sidesteps the intriguing aspects of Hulkdom and spends way too much time in, dare I say, noisy and mindless action sequences. By the time the Incredible Hulk had completed his hulk-on-hulk showdown with the Incredible Blonsky, I had been using my Timex with the illuminated dial way too often.

In both films, Banner and Ross are in love, but don't act on it because the Hulk business complicates things way too much, although I admit there's a clever moment in "Hulk" 2008 when Bruce interrupts his big chance to make love with Betty because when he gets too excited, he turns into the Hulk, and Betty is a brave girl but not that good of a sport.
Consider for a moment Gen. Ross' idea of turning out Hulk soldiers. They would be a drill sergeant's worst nightmare. When they weren't Hulks, why bother to train them? The director lets the shot run on longer than any reasonable requirement of the plot; my bet is, he was as astonished as I was, and let it run because it is so damned amazing. The scenes involving Banner in Brazil are well conceived, although when he accidentally contaminates a bottled soft drink with his blood, the movie doesn't really deal with the consequences when the drink is consumed in the United States. The contamination provides Gen. This film has no similarities to how people are today. Maybe one day when better and more advanced technology exist we will see people have these similar powers as the Asgardian’s. In my opinion, as before, it would be unpractical for these types of scenarios to exist in the real world as it does in the film “Thor.”
I have been a fan of martial arts movies since the late Bruce Lee so I figured Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, even though it was the winner of four academy awards, would just be another attempt to make a poor example of a kung fu movie that lacked culture and poor acting. Acting, scenery, choreography, and story line made this an incredibly good movie.
Freak the Mighty, the story is much better than the movie which is called The Mighty. Rodman Philbrick creates a great story with multiple themes portrayed. While in the movie, the themes are unclear. In addition, Peter Chelsom cuts out a lot of important backstory. Although Chelsom had to cut some parts out to make the movie short, the movie could have been more clear. Another reason the book is better than the movie is because the characters in the movie looked and seemed different from what they are portrayed as in the book. Lastly, the book is much more clear in terms of themes and overall ideas compared to the movie.
Watchmen is not just a graphic novel, but also a unique representation of American idealism as expressed through character image. Although the characters are portrayed as "superheroes," each is psychologically complex in that they become symbols for the flaws of American culture. Together, the characters of Watchmen reflect an unflattering image of American identity. We sacrifice morals to defend principles, rather than saving people. We sacrifice ourselves for commercial gain and for the fame that comes from the worship of strangers.
Superman can fly and shoot lasers out of his eyes, Spider man can shoot webs, and Thor has a hammer. These superheroes rely on their weapons or powers. Hulk; however, doesn’t have powers to rely on, so in a man-on-man battle, he would always win. “His capacity for physical strength is potentially limitless due to the fact that the Hulk’s strengths increases proportionally with his level of great emotional stress, anger in particular.” Because Hulk's strength is controlled by how angry he is, he can never be out matched strength wise. No matter who the Hulk is up against, his strength will always be more than his opponent. Hulk doesn't need any super powers because of how enhanced his physical abilities
Gladiator possesses all these and is the epitome of a great historical action film. Yet accolades alone did not make it a box-office success. Many films garner pre-release raves, yet disappoint in front of an actual audience. Gladiator delivered on all counts, from its early praise to its amazing box-office success, setting records in theatres coast-to-coast.
To me, the book is tremendously better than the motion picture. It panders a bit, it does not have a strong antagonist and the plot could have been tighter, yet it is a genuine, straightforward

Through the character Rorshach, The Watchmen explores the issues of nature verses nurture for him. Moore adds that a super hero, can be a psychological argument. A super hero is neither born nor shaped by environment, it is the creation of an alter ego to suppress childhood conflicting inner issues. Rorshach dealt with issues as a young child that rationalized in his mind to hide behind a costume and a mask in order to live.
To conclude, the graphic novel Watchmen presents the non-fantastic representation of a superhero, implying that not all heroes are like Superman. This notion is explored within the novel by mentioning the realistic motives of the characters choosing to become superheroes, by Rorschach’s representation and through the heroic reactions of the New Yorkers to a street crime. These elements all contribute to Watchmen’s uniqueness and complexity as a superhero comic.

...e purpose of this paper, we can assume that Batman and Spider-man have never fought each other before this day. Even if they had and Batman had studied his opponent’s weaknesses, Spider-man’s strategy and fighting style is ever changing and adapting. Finally, Batman, with his strength, intelligence, mental instability, and unlimited resources, seems to mirror one of Spider-man’s most infamous super villains, The Green Goblin, who Spider-man destroyed.
The movie has some problems. These include plot, acting, script, dialogue, and pacing. But we will forgive all those. This is a mindless action movie after all, and being a bad movie is par for the action genre course. "Triple X" isn't just a bad movie, it is a *terrible* action flick, ranking in wretchedness with the likes of Rambo III. Why? Several reasons follow, in no particular order.
... of The Amazing Spider-man 2 would say that this film has a number of defects. There are Gwen’s death, unsatisfactory ending, and even insufficient storylines. I should agree that this film needs more efforts on the detail parts. However, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was abundant and technically magnificent production for me, in many ways. As I mentioned above, Gwen’s death part gave the audiences many meanings to think about heroic movies critically, and the actors’ movements were fantastic enough. The computer-generated special effects of this film director were spectacularly real when Spider-Man dangled from a tower shelf or swings through New York City. I could feel excessive joy, and Additionally, the scene where Electro appeared Times Square was masterful in drawing the audiences’ attention as well. I hope to watch the next movie as a big fan of the Spider-man.
