Advertisements are commonly known as the way to entice us to buy a particular product, which means that the advertisement must have additional values compared to others. Then, it must be emphasized how the concept like target market or focusing point is clearly and surely determined is really important for marketers to give us an extra impact. In this analysis on the advertisements of two yoghurts, “Shape” and “Connoisseur”. The three points is found to emphasize the superior aspects of that product. These points which can be noticed are how to use colors, text, and various visual effects.
How to use colors is the most important for salesperson to give us a first impression of that product and that concept is pivotal for them. In the two advertisements, the “Connoisseur” mainly uses black and gold seems like more gorgeous and confident in its quality of the taste and also the product. Conversely, the “shape” which mainly uses lilac, purple and white seems to give us the impression of strong availability and put more emphasis on the effect on our health. Aside from the concept, more than any factors of advertising, what we look at first about the information of the advertisement is the usage of the color. But, not to overlook the importance to having the concrete concept, every person has a different idea to decide which product to buy. For example, those who are more conscious about the grade or rank of the product would never choose the one which looks more reasonable but the other one which looks like more luxurious and vice versa. For this reason, selecting colors with the clear concept like who to sell or features which sellers really want to emphasize is also vital for them.
Secondly, what they state in the text of the ...

... Despite it seeming like setting up an ambiguous impression, nothing would work negatively. It might focus on the value of that brand name, so being simpler is the best way for them to make the worth conspicuous. As of now, you can surely figure out that setting the precise target is essential in the process of promoting the advertisement. In addition, by completing this process, marketers would be able to make the advertisement more effectively.
Lastly, what can be done to make the best use of the advertisement has to be told. As mentioned above, having a solid concept is the best way not only to devise how to plan the outline of the promotion but to entice the consumers. And further, it is important to try not to make these three elements complicated and arduous for consumers. Taking all of these things into consideration, the “shape” one is most effective.
This essay is an analysis of two advertising posters, one of being a modern piece of media, the other being aimed at the previous generation. I will be reviewing posters from Coca Cola and Benetton, the latter being the modern piece of media in this comparison.
The question often is what makes a good advertisement? The answer is simple, it should be able to grab the attention of the targeted audience, and even better it should be able to make the targeted audience fall in love with the advertisement so that they can be persuaded to achieve the desired results. Of all the forms of advertisement, TV commercials always are the best considered effective way to pass the message to the targets. I believe that the combination of audio-visual effects can engrave the commercial into the hearts and minds of the viewers and that is why I have chosen to analyse a TV commercial by Weetabix: Weetabix Chocolate Dubstep Cereal Commercial.
Advertisements have become more common and can be found in almost all locations in the society; however they vary depending on the content and the medium they use to convey the information. It can be noted that television has become one of the most influential and powerful medium since it gives both visual and hearing attributes. Television is preferred by many organizations among them being Power ads since it gives a leading hand in competition since it basically influences the consumers not because of the unique product qualities but the mode at which the advertisement is made. Advertisement being one of the marketing strategies has to be designed in a way that it will have an appealing and influential role in the society or in the persons who view the commercial or ad and below is the analysis of the appeals the PowerAde has had in its advertisement as an energy drink. The emotional appeal in any advert should basically have the deep lying desire in which the individuals should be yearning for i.e. the advert should be in such a way that it attracts the attention and increases their quest to gather more knowledge thus increasing the communication.
Firstly there are many colors that have many different hidden meanings in the ad. This paper will talk about the meanings of the colors white, red, and grey. These three colors meanings and why they are placed were they are in the ad. The ad’s layout is also well done, and precise laid out. The paper will use a list that tells what makes an ad layout exquisite.
Appeal is the key to the car of spending. Advertisers know, to be successful, they must be able to quickly grab an audience’s attention and promptly make their point to keep it. A good advertisement must also contain all three of Aristotle’s appeals; pathos, ethos and logos, in order to convey a message to the masses. The visual appeal that is given from the Crest Complete with Scope ad is a prime example of how the Procter and Gamble (P&G) Company market their products to a generation that in fast-paced and easily distractible.
The color scheme in this ad, plays an enormous factor in conveying the use of pathos and ethos in the ad. In the beginning of the ad, there is a uses of dull colors. Colors such as black, brown, gray, white, and light blue communicate a message of tediousness. Towards
I have chosen two advertisements that look different, but are selling the same products. The brands have different perspectives and different audiences. One is a Durango boot advertisement and the other is an advertisement for Ariat’s line. The Durango ad is a picture of two people, a man and a woman, on red rocks like the ones in Arizona and New Mexico. The male figure is in a bent knee, crouched position, wearing sunglasses, a cowboy hat, a brown leather vest, a white tank top and blue jeans with brown boots. The female figure is laying in front of the male figure,
Nowadays, commercial is becoming a major part of mass media. It does not only try to inform people about the availability and attractiveness of industrial good productions but also contribute to build an awareness of resources and alternatives for customer in daily life. There are thousands of commercials, so to attract customer, advertisers use various kinds on their commercial to make people aware of the firm's products, services or brands. Though they use various kinds on the commercial, the main goal of advertising tries to convince customer to buy their products, or do what they want. An excellent commercial will create a deep impression on their customers, or who want to become their customers by using three classical appeals: pathos, ethos and logos.
Advertising has became a race, a race of passing information to customers in order to change their buying decisions. Because of that, it is difficult to keep the content of an advertisement true to the fact. Facts or benefits of a product are often exaggerated in modern advertisements. Brands create these new images of the product to expand the role of their actual service.
The following six principles would certainly be considered by those formulating an advertising campaign for a new product. An advertising copywriter, and a manager of such a campaign would certainly benefit from developing a familiarity of these principles.
Nowadays, advertisements are everywhere embedded in our daily life. They are powerful resources that inform people the latest news about a particular product or brand in many different ways. Most of the people are being able to get more information and detail of a product from media, radio stations, newspapers and internet. Even though advertising is a big informative source, it also can be considered as a marketing tool to control the mind and desires of the consumers to manipulate and persuade them to buy things they do not need.
The advertisement project was a great learning experience on learning what it takes to produce a print ad, and getting harsh feed back from the consumer. The project exposed how hard it is to actually produce a good advertisement that will pop to the consumers eye and reel them in to have interest in buying the product your trying to sell them. In my groups jean print advertisement we used a method from Arthur Asa Berger’s book Ads, Fads, and Consumer Culture. We in particular used chapter four, “Running it up a flagpole to see if anyone salutes”, in this chapter Berger says choose a way you want to do an advertisement and do it. The consumer will either like it or not it’s a 50/50 gamble. All you can do is what you think will work and run with it. And that’s basically the approach we had from the minute we were posed with the project. Since we didn’t feel like playing the sex sells card, the group and I felt that chapter four of Berger’s book was the best to use to produce our advertisement. While we learned a lot from this project in understanding advertising and consumer culture, the aspects of the project ranged from the original concept to the survey results of the responses from consumers.
Advertisements are pieces of art or literary work that are meant to make the viewer or reader associate to the activity or product represented on the advertisement. According to Kurtz and Dave (2010), in so doing, they aim at either increasing the demand of the product, to inform the consumer of the existence, or to differentiate that product from other existing one in the market. Therefore, the advertiser’s aim should at all times try as much as possible to stay relevant and to the point.
Creating a creative advertisement that stands out from the crowd is essential for any company’s growth. A common communication strategy is for companies to break through competitive clutter in order to shape consumers attitude and intentions. A creative ad is able to catch the attention of onlookers with the added wow factor. Interest in an ad is influenced by surprise, information and benefits. Comforts fabric softener ad (See appendix 1), is a great example of this as the ad displays a perfect visual for their product with an added touch of humor to draw potential customers attention to the ad. Their ad clearly conveys the message of their product without the need of a
According to Shimp (2007), there are five important factors which determine the purpose of advertisement in terms of marketers’ communication with consumers. He listed these five factors as follows: “(1) informing, (2) influencing, (3) reminding and increasing salience, (4) adding value, and (5) assisting other company efforts.” (p.246). To clarify that, the first most important aspect is informing people which means company needs to enhance the awareness of the consumer about their products by mentioning its advantages and features. Advertising also affect the products in two ways. Firstly, by basic demand, which build consumer desires for old products of the company and secondly, refers to a new brand of the company. In addition, effective advertising can retain consumer’s mind fresh about the image of a brand which develops the trace of the memory where consumers have to choose between two or more products. Moreover, it may change the product quality, create new, well-designed and elegant product and change consumers view towards the product. Lastly, by effective advertising program, company may save money and time as s...
