#### Switch Up Your Routine
Boredom is one of the biggest exercise routine killers. Do not allow monotony to curb your will. Switching things up keeps it fresh. If running is your verb, outline various paths instead of traversing the same route week after week. Varying intensity prevents injury and also provides diversity. Finding a workout buddy can actually make you look forward to the days you have a pal to chat with as you sweat it out. In America alone, only about 51% of Americans exercise 3 or more times a week, and 18% exercise only 1 to 2 times a week (Shy). 30% of American sadly doesn’t do any type of extracurricular activity or exercise at all (Blackburn). For the people who don’t exercise, try to because you can really only benefit from it. The one’s that already do know the health benefits for exercising. Aside from just exercising, one activity or activities you could do is weight lifting/strength training. Most people don’t think about this but strength training is actually a big key for exercise.
What is Athletic training, and what could someone do with an athletic training degree? Athletic training is a unique field because it requires a strong mental and physical ability. These trainers go by many different titles such as: physician extender, wellness manager, rehab specialist, etc. Many trainers do not work under anyone, as they have their own office outside of the athletic setting. However, these trainer also work in many other places, such as: universities, hospitals and clinics, professional sports fields, military bases, etc. With a degree in this field, one might want, for example, to work in a hospital or clinic, as stated above. What would he/she be responsible for in this particular setting? A trainer working in a hospital would try to ease the pain of the injury and help move the patient through the process of the treatment.
Exercise is very beneficial to everyone that wants to stay fit and to keep their health in good shape for the future. I know many people that work out just thirty minutes a day and eat healthy and they are in the greatest shape of their life. So during the times you feel fat and lazy and just do not want to get up off the couch. Think if you go to your nearest gym and workout for thirty minutes to an hour you will feel so much better with yourself, and have so much energy throughout your day.
Have you ever had those moments where you are feeling unmotivated or zero energy to workout? I will be the first to tell you I have had these moments. Being involved in the fitness world, I love every aspect of fitness. For the past 5 years, I was working out 5 days a week and had my ups and downs with results. I am guilty of it, I would pick up a workout magazine and try out this crazy workout and just destroy my body. Sure, I saw some results but I was becoming more and more tired throughout the day. On top of that, I was only getting 5 hours of sleep and not eating appropriately to refuel my body. I know stupid right? I am human and I am not perfect!
Since the dawn of humanity, exercise has been crucial for physical survival. In recent times, however, exercise is losing its significance to human survival. Some would argue that it already has lost its significance, and as exercise becomes less important, people exercise less. According to fitness.gov, only 33% of adults receive the recommended amount of physical activity each week (citation). Clearly there is a problem. However, there is still a fraction of the population that exercises diligently. Why do these people stick with it? Exercise has countless advantages that are still extremely important to our lives. So even though the need of exercise may appear to be diminishing, the practical effects should be enough to encourage people
Exercising is too over rated. It’s not as healthy as it’s cracked up to be. All it does is make you tired as you go through and finish what you have done. You waste all your time going to the gym or watching what you eat, while you could very much be enjoying a movie on the old television while chewing on a delicious piece of pizza. Why eat all that junk that is “healthy”, what’s really bad about “junk food”? Is there anything wrong with enjoying yourself? No, there is nothing wrong at all. I believe you should have the chance to make all of your own decisions and to do whatever it is that you want. Why eat a small bowl of cereal, when you really want a second helping? Why run for a half hour to lose what you just ate, only to gain it back to do the same thing. If you just eat whatever your body is telling you that you want, you’ll be fine. That’s why our body has what we call metabolism. This helps to maintain weight and to keep you in shape, right? Damn straight! So for all those who are out there right now, reading this and thinking that it’s ok to be fat, sure it is. Although, I must say that, being too fat is no good. You are the people who probably should waste your time and money on something so stupid that you don’t even gain anything over the whole time you do it. Hell, you could be on a program for about two years, lose twenty pounds and feel great. I’d love to do that, but you know what that does later in life? That weight you lost then comes right back, it didn’t do you any good losing that weight in the long run. All that is going to happen is that you are going to turn out to be one of those really fat people we see on the news that is crying about not being able to take care of themselves and not being in good care. Screw them, why be like them, be your own person, the only healthy eating is eating at a fulfilling rate. So, next time you go to watch a show and a commercial comes on about some stupid, super duper, weight lose programs...I want you to call it.

Any type of physical activity you choose to do--strenuous activities such as running or aerobic dancing or moderate-intensity activities such as walking or household work--will increase the number of calories your body uses. The key to successful weight control and improved overall health is making physical activity a part of your daily routine.
The majority of people in this society try to exercise and eat right to stay healthy. The problem is that they worry more about exercising and not getting good nutrition. They do not understand that exercise is not enough to be healthy. In order to be healthy, people should be aware of what they eat. Good nutrition is more important than regular exercise because it helps in losing weight, helps to fuel the body, prevent the risk of getting diseases, and helps building muscles.
It is common knowledge that exercise is one of the best ways to stay healthy. Regular exercise has many effects that benefit the human body. But how much exercise is needed to see improvements? The Center for Disease Control states, that according to the 2008 Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans, two types of physical activity are needed to improve your health- aerobic and muscle-strengthening. The CDC recommends 150 minutes a week of moderately intense aerobic activity, like brisk walking, or 75 minutes a week of vigorously intense aerobic activity, like jogging or running along with two days a week spent doing muscle strengthening activity on the major muscle groups. Consistently following this recommended
