One of the things that has been used in many school that shows to be effective, are the innovated whiteboards. In fact, an english teacher, Ann Leaness writes in her article, “I have been using an interactive whiteboard for several years, and honestly, I like having the board available. The software that comes with the board offers me a nice way to organize and save the work we do each day” (Leaness). Leaness proves that as a teacher she sees results as to how effective the whiteboards actually are when she instructs the class as well as she sees the way students participate more. Another way that technology has been involved with education within schools is by the use of social media. McMean stated, “Social media is a knowledgeable topic for our students, and it is an excellent way to gain the interest of them prior to lesson implementation” (McMean).
