From past years it is observed that tourism was most resilient region which was responsible for supporting growth and recovery of the economy. In the year 2012, over all international arrival of tourist reached the amazing milestone of more than one billion, that is double the figure of 1990. It is expected by UNWTO that by 2030, the figure will rise further and will reach 1.8 billion. Significant trend in International tourism development from last decade has been the rise of developing economic destination. At present time, nearly half of one billion international tourist arrivals all around the world are continuously developing and growing economies. The three major principles that must be given importance for sustainable development of tourism includes community principles, fairness principle and sustainability principles where sustainable development for local government is dependent on enhancing and building prosperous and positivity to communities from tourism. Present theoretical approached towards sustainable tourism development for government bodies and stakeholders needs to be summarised, along with highlighting their emerging role important to be played for supporting tourism sector (Brokaj, 2014).
