Success for All (SfA) reading program creates lifelong readers and prevents the cycle of reading failure. Literacy improvement program for pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. During this program children develop the ability to read fluently which gives them a literacy understanding and improvement in other subject areas. Success for All has helped millions of children to read, achieve and gain a new vision for their futures. For 30 years Success for All has worked directly with educators in thousands of schools in disadvantaged communities to help their students achieve reading levels at or about the norm. (Success for All Foundation, 2015).
SfA was developed in 1986 because of the passion to improve children education from the knowledge of Dr. Robert Savin and Dr. Nancy Madden who united in the 1970’s because of their same interest of improving children educations. While working as researchers at Johns Hopkins University, which lead to a comprehensive program for children through cooperative learning. They worked with educators to establish the program, while doing so they gained international recognition and Success for All which became a not-for-profit program for schools all over the world. (Success for All Foundation, 2015).

John Public School. Reading Roots targets the needs of beginning readers by providing a 90-minute comprehensive program. It also includes phonies instruction, decodable stories, fluency and comprehension instruction. There are 48 lessons designed to develop creative thinking and problem-solving in children. Colorful classroom materials are provided to the teachers to develop a color environment for students’ interest.
