Communication is the process of sharing information, thoughts and ideas through speaking or writing. An effective communication is when someone sends you a message and it is easily understood and received by another. Robbins & Judge (2009) point out that communication must include both the transfer and understanding of meaning. Furthermore, any idea, no matter how great, is useless unless it is fully understood by others (p.351).
Small Group Networks Small group network communication refers to interactions among three or more people who are connected through a common purpose, mutual influence, and a shared identity. Different groups have different characteristics, serve different purposes, and can lead to positive, neutral, or negative experiences.
