The man that many refer to as the Father of the United States of America, who served 2 terms, was and still is truly inspirational figure from American history. One of the things that tips the scale of my favor toward Washington is that he believed in the Republic of the United States of America, and that we each had certain inalienable rights that were not up for debate or a vote. If there were more people like him in the U.S. today, we may not be in the condition that we are.
With George Washington being pronounced as a war hero he became the President by the only unanimous draft by the Electoral College. At 6 feet 2 inches and strong features Washington was an imposing person though he favored the quiet over politics. This might have been his greatest attribute. This is why a president can only run twice.

His passion from that battlefield carried over into his passion for making the country that he loved a better place. Washington’s life began in Westmoreland County, Virginia, on February 22, 1732. His father, Augustine Washington, was not actually his birth father. Augustine’s first wife died in 1729. He married Mary Ball in 1731 and this made George the oldest of his six siblings.
