It is important to everyone to know what are their values in life, and what they want to be, and stand for in their journey, morally and ethically. To understand and reach those values that we are seeking, we need to understand ourselves and our personalities first, and then we can frame a plan that will help us to reach our moral goals, and put it in practice in our everyday real life dilemmas. One way to examine ourselves is to take “the big five project” test. This test was made by several psychologists since the 1970’s, like Paul Costa, Robert McCrae, and more. I mostly prefer the traditional and familiar experience more. After thinking thoroughly, I realized that is absolutely true about myself, but I definitely want to change that because we live in a world that move very fast and things change in about every seven years, being closed mind and always thinking in the box will not help me exceed and be in the place that I want to be in the future. And to break those rules I have to, first, to step out of my comfort zoon, as much I love to be the listener, I have to speak up my Ideas, that will be uncomfortable at first but this will make people listen to my Ideas and maybe cretic and refine them, and doing this I might meet some people that have something in common with me that maybe I can be friends with, this will hit my second goal to improve myself which is meet new people and make new friends that we can share our ideas. and without any surprises I was more introverted than extroverted. As I mentioned before I enjoy listening and observing more than talking and take the lead. I need to be more extraverted person, and I believe to do that is to go out of my comfort zoon and force myself to talk more to others. The team project that we are doing for the business class is absolutely helping me to be more extroverted, because I’m forcing myself to speak up my ideas to my other colleagues, and I can feel a difference now than our first project meeting. Involving in collage events would also help me to step out of my comfort zoon and talk to more people. I think my low score with opening to new ideas correlate to being introverted, so, as mentioned before, reading books will help me be more creative and open to new ideas, but also discussing the book with others will eventually make me more extroverted, so maybe joining a book club would be a great idea. Making a study group will help too, because nothing better than having an A in a class, and improving my personality at the same
I can be kind of closed off and separated from people at first, but once I start to know people and approach them more then I become very open and outgoing. I feel this is a very important aspect of my life, it could be a good thing or a bad thing. One problem that comes from this aspect of me is that it makes it hard for me to meet new people because I always come off as closed off. I see Chuck Nolan as being a very outgoing person and he is not afraid to express himself, that is one difference between me and Chuck, but I feel that in time I could be more open and more approachable as a person like

Personality is massive part of an individual’s identity. Our personalities dictate our patterns of thinking, feeling, and acting. An individual’s personality exposes them to predispositions and habits that influence their actions and lives. Early on, personality assessments consisted of physical features ranging from head shape and facial characteristics to body type. In today’s world, personality assessments are mainly based around traits. Traits are simply descriptions of one’s habitual patterns of behavior, thought and emotion. The most popular personality assessment is the Five-Factor Model, also known as The Big Five. This model allows us to describe people based on the five main traits/dimensions. These traits are extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, neuroticism, and openness to experience. Each of these five traits measures a different aspect of one’s personality. A person’s personality has been the subject of psychological scrutiny for many years. Psychologists have drawn up several theories in an attempt to accurately predict and determine one’s personality. Foremost amongst these, is the “Big Five Trait Theory” which stemmed from Raymond B. Cattell’s theory.
In the vast and detailed world of psychology, there are a variety of different tests you can participate in. For example, you can participate in aptitude, verbal or numerical reasoning, and psychometric tests. These tests assess on a variety of different situations such as: behaviors, abilities and intelligence. Personality tests, a common and favored test, measure things such as: behavioral style, opinions, motivators, personal values and career interests. Most often, people complain or disagree with the score of some areas on their personality test; however, there are no right or wrong answers. After completing this personality test and reviewing the results, I found that the overall scoring accurately described me in most areas. The Big Five Personality test scores in five different areas involving openness, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness and neuroticism.
These scales are commonly alternatively represented by the OCEAN acronym Openness to experience, Conscientiousness, Extraversion/Introversion, Agreeableness and Neuroticism. The Big Five structure captures, at a broad level of abstraction, commonalities among most of the existing systems of personality description, and provides an integrative descriptive model for personality research. Personal values are something which we develop through the course of life; they can change over time and may be influenced by our family, friends, culture, religion and the media. Personal values develop through experience and development, they impact our personal lives as well as our professional lives. This essay will look at my personal values, how they were shaped through the course of my life and the influence on my view of society and the role of the practitioner. Conclusively, I will outline my professional development by making reference to Kohl’s experiential learning model in addition, to my personal reflection on my development so far.

A highly accurate description of ones’ personality can be easily configured by using the Five-Factor Model of Personality by testing either high or low in the following areas; openness to experience, extraversion, conscientiousness, agreeableness, and neuroticism.
There are many different meanings when we type out the word “Values” in the internet. From “importance, worth or usefulness of something” to a “person’s principles or standards of behavior” and “one’s judgement of what is important in life.” (Google) All these meaning have a word in common, important. My meaning to values is what I consider important in my life, simple as that. There are over 100 values in which are all very significant in our daily lives. It is hard to choose just a few values when in reality we all want all of them even if we don’t admit we need it. If I had to choose values, it would be family, happiness, loyalty, honesty, and lastly responsibility.

I value my family more than anything because most of my core inner values have started from their teachings at one point or another. My top values that I have developed from my family are dedication, honesty, and wisdom. I will discuss who I am in terms of the important values that shape my personal belief system and decision making framework that, in essence, describes the direction of my life.
My personal vision of the future is not something I have taken a significant amount of time to ponder in the past. I have general ideas of where I see myself both personally and professionally in future but have not identified specific steps to get there or pondered why I want to be in that situation. When taking on this somewhat daunting task of identifying my future self it is important to identify my driving values, philosophy, dreams, and my personal calling. Self-reflection on these characteristics and preferences are key to a developing a successful picture of the future.
