Religion is part of a well rounded education and provides the religious aspects of human morality and virtuosity (Haynes, 2). It allows for the insight into history and culture through the historical influence of its nature. Despite the fact that it is not the only factor, one can not help but notice the steady decline of the moral society in relation to the degeneration of religious rights (Glenn, 7). One must stop and think how a little bit of voluntary religious freedom in the public school system would affect the morality of the new age student.

In conclusion, it can clearly be seen through all of the examples posed that the belief systems of a nation can both directly and indirectly influence a nation’s people and culture. Whether it be negative, such as Legalism’s harsh rule causing revolts and Confucianism’s filial piety causing economic downfall, or positive, such as Buddhism reuniting the people of China and Daoism’s advancement in sciences, the correlation is clear. This influence has occurred in nearly every nation that existed, and likely every nation to come, as it all revolves around a single idea: all of the actions we take, and the products which sprout from them, are rooted from our beliefs.
Due to the fact there are so many world religions, it is imperative that religion is broadly defined in order to include the vast array of beliefs. Religion is the devotion to a set or path of beliefs, where faith is used as guidance, respect is used with practice, and love honors the higher and more worthy authority. As seen for thousands of years, religious prosecution has led to religious wars, all for the lack of respect and freedom. Religion, like those who choose to practice, is exceedingly diverse. One god, hundreds of gods, or no gods at all, freedom should be granted equally without judgment and jurisdiction to any persons who live their life accordingly.

Despite the large amount of religions, I will only be covering only three religions: Christianity, Islam, and Buddhism.

Religion is an imperative part of our contemporary world but mod...
