Manager interview questions are intended to examine the candidate’s management related competencies and personal management style. Regardless of race, age and gender of the human resource manager as well as the type of organization he/she may work for, the managerial interview questions mainly focus on his/her competencies and management skills. However, in some cases when a person (interviewer) wants to gain some knowledge, experience, and skills from the intended professional person (interviewee), it is called an informational interview (Penny, 2016.). Hence, to understand some of the complex challenges the managers have faced, especially in the health care sectors and the measures that have to be taken. According to Makely (2013), career planning is a strategy for growing and developing a person’s profession through different training opportunities. It also helps to stay on track and identifies the next steps in developing professional growth. Muller (2016) said that health care professionals should be a lifelong learner because of the many needs in a healthcare organization. For example, Mr. Muller mentioned a change in technology, the patient needs change, and an increase in responsibilities can intensify the importance of career planning and development. Generalizing the idea of the importance of the career planning and development in both the employee and the employer perspectives, Mr. Muller said, “in both perspectives (employee and employer) it’s equally important” the employee increases his/her knowledge when effectively utilizes career planning and development.
