Listening is a process in which the listener pays attention to another party. Listening is a skill and an art, as it depends on complex mental processes. Due to the need synergy of thinking and hearing with each other. Listening can be a challenge if we do not pay attention to what's being said in a proper way. Because how we interact with others define who we are. Listening skills can help us deal with confusion and prevent misunderstanding. In my view, paying attention, asking questions, understanding, and advising are the foundation of good listening.
Listening requires many skills, paying attention is one of them. Pay attention is the major method of listening, and the basic way to focus and concentrate to others’ massages. Pay attention skill is my strength listening skill. According to the listening self-analyses questions, I found myself scored high in most questions that required attention. For example being a social person I have the ability to listen to different people from different culture and ages without being annoyed. By paying attention I managed to communicate successfully with a friend of mine who came from a totally different culture than mine. Even though she speak a very little English. Some areas need more work, others need improvement. I am an accurate person, with that said I made a list of priorities for my concrete suggestion plan to follow. My first priority is to improve my language in order to get rid of my language barrier problem and then I can listen perfect and understand. The second plan is to work hard on advising, by trying to avoid my hesitation and work with close family members and friends. My aim is to see if the results are positive or negatives and weather if I can fix what needed to be fixed. By doing that I will gain more listening experience and be able to offer my advices without
