Retaining such information on how to prepare lemonade when being thrown lemons has invariably been a close remark of comfort. Peers today such as me, face many obstacles throughout our years of livelihood. The challenges that are continuously encountered can range from calm to severe at times. But, in today’s era, every challenge that we accept, usually becomes an ambition to defeat such test. Discovering a method to fund college, stressing over an exceedingly high-ranking test, while still trying to understand life in general, continues to have such demanding impact on my peers and me. Yet, there are innumerable tactics that could be used to overpower each challenge. Accompanied by multitudinous lessons, each challenge is learned in …show more content…
Enjoying life means to get an understanding of what our purpose is on earth. Every second of the day we’re playing a game. Some will make it the next second and others won’t. My peers and I go into this unknown world not knowing what to expect. For example, just last Thursday, one of my classmates of four years passed away in a tragic accident. She was crossing an intersection at about 9 pm, dressed in dark clothing, while walking against a do not walk signal. She was struck by the left mirror of one car, following behind that car, she was struck by a second car; which has what killed her. She died at the scene. Once the news was broke to the whole school, everyone was in mourning. The energy was very saddened by such tragic news, which taught me that we do not fully understand life or the ending of such an earthly life: death. As of now, we’re still trying to pick up the broken pieces of our heart and move on. With the help of each other, we are slowly finding a prosperous way to enjoy our life. We pray constantly about our current situation and keep busy, which helps us overcome our problems. These current circumstances that we were forced into became a learned lesson. It truly has taught us that our loved ones will not be here on earth forever, so, it’s important to enjoy them while they’re here. Life is what you make it, so, it’s important to enjoy it and be
(AGG) There's a moral that says, “It is important to take the time to enjoy life.”
Many narratives are told in different perspectives these days. I believe the book Make Lemonade is told in the first person point of view.
If everyone thinks that without struggle, it is easy to obtain their goals that is entirely false. Struggle comes from the progress of our success and achievement. It is an indication that we poured all of our time and patience into the things we pursue. Jeannette Walls, the author of The Glass Castle, explain her struggles. She survives by finding foods from the trash can and earns money by babysitting, exchanging scrap metal, finding jobs, and from her parents. As a graduating student from high school, receiving my diploma is an indication that I ...
Like climbing a mountain, the desire for advancement through education requires vigorous, determined, and disciplined students. Students that can overcome mixed feelings of guilt, anxiety, and desire that can cripple the students’ success in college. Students must propel themselves higher up the mountain from a position that is lower in elevation than their more entitled counterparts. A substantial amount of determination and climbing ultimately leads to either success or defeat in the world of education. Students must challenge their own identities and relieve themselves of their past to succeed. The pertinacious character of working-class students provides a desire to escape to a place of acceptance and understanding. Through education students are challenged to discover themselves and what they are truly capable of, or fall off the mountain
It could even be said that those for whom life has never appeared problematic, have not really found - nor can they ever know - the meaning of life. For these people Life is just a matter of `living', and the question of its meaning simply does not arise.
We don’t get to live forever, so why not cherish every moment we have? Many others die young, like John Keats, and never get to accomplish all the things they wanted. On the other hand, many live a life confined by a disability or mental illness and are trapped, never getting the chance to live the life they otherwise would. If we have the chance to live the great life we dream, then do it. There is no sense in wasting our time on this earth by being upset or being a bore, rather, we should live life to the
In this project I ran a lemonade stand for 30 days. I had a rough beginning, but as the game went on I began to learn about what the customers wanted. I made a net profit of $83.11 dollars. I figured out that I needed to make sure I didn't buy too much ice, or it would melt and I'd be wasting money on ice. I ended the game with a 100% in satisfaction, and popularity. I figured out the temperature had a correlation with the demand of lemonade. If it was hot, people wanted more ice, and were willing to pay more money for a cup of lemonade. If it was cold, people did not want much ice in their lemonade, and didn't want to pay much for a cup. The customers were more willing to buy a cup of lemonade if it had a good balance
“The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.” ― Ralph Waldo Emerson-
Lemonade Syllabus feature’s Beyoncé’s album Lemonade, and literary works from a plethora of genres. Lemonade Syllabus is different than a class syllabus because it displays what the class is about, and what needs to be accomplished during the semester. It is an impactful literary work because she uses the syllabus in an ironic manner. Benbow does not use a syllabus as a reader may expect to read a syllabus, and that helps to keep the audience looking for more. Although you know how the class will be, there is still an air of mystery regarding how the class will be implemented. You do not have options with a syllabus most of the time, and with Lemonade you have control over what you want to read. I think Candace’s Lemonade Syllabus is different because she gives us an outline into black womanhood and feminism. There are no assumptions of what the quotes, literary works, or pictures mean all of it revolves around educating her readers. The composition corresponds with genre because it goes hand in hand with the black social issues seen today. The readings and Beyoncé’s lemonade are cohesive, the content displayed in both of them are about social injustices and how to heal from them.
Life entirely is a gift, whether long-lived or short-lived, how one spends it determines the overall value of the last moments. Personally, I enjoy each and every day to my fullest as if there is no tomorrow. I live a life full of no regrets and always choose the most scenic road as a guide for my every moment. I have learned to take my life as beneficial and a blessing because there are so many others who could have been born but were not born and who never had the chance to exist. Those of us brought to existence are destined to be greater and accomplish greater things.

In conclusion, humankind is blessed with life as God created it. One must reflect on their actions throughout life because one will be judged by God in the next life, one must see the importance of gasping liberation, and one must have a loving and open heart when helping the poor. Life should be lived to its fullest because once time is lost, it cannot be regained; life needs to be appreciated.
The Buddha stated that to live means to inescapably experience sorrow and dissatisfaction. Each new obstacle needs to be analyzed and understood so a solution can be found. Suffering cannot be avoided but the four noble truths indicate how each person can respond to it (Ellwood, McGraw, 121).
When we are having fun, time passes swiftly away. In contrast, when we have nothing to do, time hardly passes by. A second seems longer than a minute, a minute longer than an hour. However, 10 hours seem just 10 minutes when its fun, when we are engaged in something we enjoy doing. When we talk with a broader point of view, we say life is t short to live to the full if we are enjoying our life and still have millions of things we want to do but know we can’t because life’s just too short. But for someone who is not at all enjoying life or whatever he/she is doing, one is too afraid to live life to the full, life is too long. For such people, life could have been more fun had it been shorter. Interestingly, it seems they don’t know that life is until you live, when u don’t live u live like a breathing corpse. It is then not living a life because for wise men living is something totally different to staying alive. For them, life’s just too short to live.
I can look forward to it and manage my expectations but happens when something gets in the way? I will never have the answer to “What is the meaning of life?”—but I will have the ability to try. There is a reason why I’m always soul searching to become a better me. It’s because the best me hasn’t happened yet. I will never be the best version of myself but I am always a work in progress trying to reach the ultimate goal. Life isn’t about being successful and leaving your “mark on the world.” Maybe life is about leaving a shadow so one can follow in. Maybe that’s why we’re all here—to try and make it easier for the people to come. My fulfilling life hasn’t been fulfilled yet—the best is yet to
