Introduction In any other era, the environment is very important for humans. Between the environment and the development have close relationships: the environment is the geographical and the objects of development, the development are causes create environmental change. Currently, the environment is the hot issue of the humanity. Environment pollution has happened on wide area and become more serious problem. The speed industrialization rapid urbanization and the rise population put pressure on the environment. In many urban areas, industrial areas have contaminated by the lack of waste treatment equipment. The change environment make increasingly harsh climate and less predictable. Typhoon status, irregular flash floods, land degradation, water pollution forest resource depletion, the greenhouse effect… It’s the environment problem that mankind has to face. People have too much impact on the environment, exploitation of resource depletion; toxic waste make the environment can no longer biodegradable. Nature has bestowed on people things that people do not know to preserve and protect it, when the environment is gradually deteriorating, appear many types "strange disease" than, humans realized the importance of the environment. Therefore, the human need protect the environment. In my opinion, I strongly believe the environment protection will have positive impact on human’s life. Body The environment has a huge impact on people and society. To know the importance of the environment to humans, below is the biggest roles of the environment on humans. First of all, the environment is place that contains and provides resources for people' life. In development history, humanity has gone through several stages. It provides physical, biological, chemical factors for human. It is sunlight, mountains, rivers, seas, air, plants and animals, land and water. The natural environment gives us air to breathe, the land to build houses, cultivation, livestock, provide for humans the mineral resources to serve production and consumption. Typically, on average each day, one person needs about 4m3 clean air to breathe; 2.5 liters of water to drink; a food, food corresponding to 2000 - 2400 calories. ( Ha Noi, 2012). Besides, we may arrange natural environment into the functions: Building function: as people's living space and the organisms, the environment provide ground and foundation for urban, industrial, architectural and rural.
