It is not surprising that our understanding of a fulfilling career is miles apart from one another. Though the business and corporate world has changed much in recent years, so many of us still end up in corporate chairs with shiny shoes on our feet thinking, “How did I get here?” Most of us dream about living our life on our own terms but get stuck in the rat race until it’s too late to quit, while others know the sad truth but choose to accept it. Entrepreneurship isn’t for everyone, most of us are attending university degrees for a 6-figure salary, timely bonuses and retirement benefits. Passionate entrepreneurs can do extraordinary things, things people deem crazy and impossible. The greatest pleasure in life is doing what people say you cannot do. 4. Changing the world. Entrepreneurs don’t just want to change their lives – they want to change the world they live in. Finding meaning in their work and bringing changes to the world is something that drives every entrepreneur. Many people who were low and unsatisfied with life with a regular job were able to start a successful venture while also giving back to society. They inspire people around them.
