Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) falls under the general job title: Accountant. Accountants’ NOC and SOC are 1111 and 13-2011.01 respectively. They perform duties such as planning, organizing and administering accounting systems for individuals and establishments. They also analyze financial information and prepare financial reports to determine or maintain a record of assets, liabilities, profit or loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within an organization to monitor its’ financial position. (O*Net Online, 2016). According to O*Net Online (2016), accountants report to the firm’s management regarding the finances of establishment.
