Artificial superintelligence could be something positive or negative for all of society. It could either be the destruction and extinction of all of mankind or it could be the best thing that could have ever happened to us. Well first of all what is artificial intelligence. Artificial intelligence is a type of technology that is able to perform a task that it is asked to do in an exceeding well manner. There are three specific types of artificial intelligence. Essentially, artificial superintelligence is something that is possible in the near future because of how fast we have advanced over a short period of time. Although it is something very difficult to believe to happen because of how this idea has been portrayed through movies or even other scientists themselves, but it is very likely to be created once thought carefully with the technology we use daily in this generation.

Many scientists suggest that artificial superintelligence cannot be achieved because of how complex it is to begin with. It is something so different from us that it seems almost impossible for it to be even achieved. It is something that has multiple features to it, essentially multiple intelligences. It is capable of doing and accomplishing a variety of tasks. It processes things in such a complex way that scientist still do not fully understand it. The more intelligence it may have does not necessarily mean it will be able to do such a thing. For instance, cancer is something that many individuals struggle with and there has not yet been anyone who has found a cure for it with the intelligence they have. And so, if an artificial superintelligence were to have all the information in the world, it does not mean we should assume that it would be able to find a cure for it. It may be able to somewhat understand what cancer is and does, but it does not mean it can solve this very serious illness. Scientists today could barely understand the human body and so what makes people think that this artificial superintelligence will be able to understand the entire human body and cure cancer. It simply is impossible and so they assume it will not happen and affect our society in any way significantly. This is most likely true and should be considered but it does not mean we should dismiss the fact that it could change all of society by what it is capable of doing. It may not be able to cure cancer, but it will be able to do a variety of jobs much effectively and quicker than what a person can do. This artificial superintelligence will be something that completely affects our entire life and how we revolve around it once it is created. For example, if it is able to think
