What will happen to planet Earth as years pass by? The world will eventually fall apart as the years go by because of many natural and manmade causes. One of the most impactful causes to the Earth’s eventual downfall is climate change. Climate change is a long term change in the weather that affects many parts of the Earth such as the arctic, extinction of animals and more terrible acts. Climate Change will affect the Earth negatively due to its causes of natural disasters, health effects to humans, and global warming.
There is a common saying like this: How humans treat nature is how nature treats humans. With the rapid growth of economies, the rampant growth of industrial parks and the increasing number of vehicles, the downside of development is increasingly challenging. Difficult to deal with the environment for all human beings on Earth. One of the most pressing issues is climate change. Indeed, humanity is at risk of extinction due to the impact of environmental pollution leading to climate change and recent natural disasters such as earthquakes, tsunamis, and volcanoes.
Introduction: Air pollution is among the critical challenges facing modern societies and is one of the most pressing environing mental problems. Air pollution is accountable for major harmful effects on human strength, animal survives, natural ecosystems and the man-made environment. It is also responsible for climate change due to the improved greenhouse effect, acid rain, and the reduction of the ozone layer that inaugurate important global environmental problems. Air pollution occurs both outdoors and indoors and is caused by human activities and natural mechanisms. Although air quality degradation because of air pollution is a global problem that threatens humanity’s wellbeing overall, it is largely associated with environmental bias.
Chemicals The way, we the humans, treat our own environment can be devastating. This is where the respective role of governments can make decisions that shape environmental policy and responsibilities. These governments can be broken up into four different levels: local, state, federal and international. Air chemical pollution and biodiversity are two current issues that can be related to the role of governments. Global warming is also another implication that has a devastating effect on the environment.
Today, scientist argue over the consequences of global warming. Scientist say that the heating of the atmosphere can influence many health problems. Some of the related problems due to global warming are death to heat waves and other climate changes, and infectious diseases. With the atmosphere temperature rising, we all will be at risk. The climate not only harms our bodies, it can also harm our crops and waters.
There are many other causes to global warming such as air pollution, Melting of the Glaciers, Human Activities and even Industrial Advancement that have affected climate change. This incident that has been going on for centuries affects many different factors in specific society, environment, and economy. The environment is slowly being destroyed and habitats are being disrupted due to the increase of global warming and its not happening only in one way but in several ways. As stated from an article, “Severe rainfall events and snow storms can delay planting and harvesting, cause power outages … and other wise make it difficult for people to go about their daily business” (Union of Concerned Scientists). The environment has been severely destroyed due to the unexpected weather events that have lead to the disruption of different lands that we use for farming and harvesting and that has stopped farmers from doing their jobs.
However, dispelling process of this heat radiation from Earth’s atmosphere is disturbed by the greenhouse gases , which leads to accumulation of heat around the globe. Second, wind and ocean currents are also dominant contributor to climate change. Regulation in wind and ocean currents may affect the global atm... ... middle of paper ... ... change issues can also be reduced by practicing the above solutions. In conclusion, humans have contributed factors to climate change whereas nature is just completing its task of the environmental cycle. By altering the cycle path of nature, humans has been destructive to nature through using excessive amount of natural resources and ruining the environmental collars which is the trees.
Acid Rain, Ozone Depletion, Smog, and Global Warming are all the result of air pollution. This could possibly be the single most devastating factor in the dissipation of our Eco-system, as we know it. Acid Rain is a term that consists of acid rain, snow, fog, and particles. It is caused by sulfur dioxides and nitrogen oxides released by power plants vehicles and other sources such as gasses, and oils. (EPA Acid Rain) Acid rain effects trees, soil, farms, and surface waters.
Agriculture will be greatly affected as well. If temperatures keep rising, farmers will have to go through more extreme droughts. Global warming is caused by the emission of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere and has many adverse effects on the environment, our societies, and our economies. Another cost of fossil fuels is air pollution.
Chapter I Conceptual frame work of Environmental Management INTRODUCTION: Environmental disasters such as Bhopal Gas Tragedy and Chernobyl, and problems like global warming and ozone depletion that arise due to the industrial mode of development have opened our minds to the fact that there is something grossly wrong with it. These are major accidents or problems. There are several minor happenings around us, which reveal the crying need for good environmental management. For instance, think about the distance you have to travel for reaching your work place. You may have suffered irritation from noise and health problems due to the exhaust of vehicles.
