The ghetto is a very often commonly misused word. Jews are the only ones who can utilize the word properly. People of Jewish religion are the alone ones who truly recognize what it is like to be in an actual ghetto. This word holds so many stories behind it are nil compared to what its actual significance. At least one thousand ghettos were established by Germans during the Holocaust. Jews were discovered as a minority; hence they were inhabited in small regions which the Nazi SS named ghettos. Jewish quarters were somewhat in similar comparison to concentration camps, although they were very much smaller. Jews were not always subjected to this type of treatment. Treatment in such a way all started with Adolf Hitler. He charged the Jews for the collapse of the livestock market, because of their successful roles in the economic system. Hitler is a very vindictive man. Therefore he convinced the Germans to treat the Jews in this way. No one in this generation can say they have never lived in an actual ghetto and never will base on the knowledge itself about Jewish ghetto living during the Holocaust era. Ghettos had been just short term steps to segregate and further more control Jewish population in Poland. This supplied Germans time to decide on how to extinguish Europe of all Jewish populations or” final solution” as the Nazi officials called it. The word ghetto was originated in the sixteenth-century in Venice, where it was used to refer to as the Jewish quarters. It’s rather funny that the first one actually was formed in Lodz, Poland on February 8, 1940. Research states that the Nazis put almost one third of the population in the ghetto. Nazi officials could concentrate the number of Jews killed a day. This provided the Jews with knowledge on what now the final solution was. A Jewish spirit in a ghetto was one of the worse to lives not any human organism should be put through what they had to get through. Being that the sole grounds they were conveyed to this type of treatment was because one cowardly man could not carry the blame for his activities. Ghettos are not to be considered lightly. Jewish support was hard any survivors all have a tale to narrate. Many people say it was totally a myth. That there is no way Jews were subjected to such treatment. He or she still can never articulate what it is like to experience the Jewish ghetto lifestyle. But Jews have that privilege and curse. Every word has a story to tell.
