(Norton, James pg .4) At the concentration camps the Jews would do slave work and have to do whatever the Nazi soldiers told them to do. (The Holocaust pg.1) Some of the Jews died from starvation because at the concentration camp they would not get any food.
In every choice our society has depicted that there's a right and a wrong decision to everything; it was wrong for U.S legislation to not give their best efforts to help refugees of the Holocaust it lead to future prejudices and the suffering of millions. The Holocaust impacted Americans in a number of ways. On one note the Holocaust instilled a number of fears into American’s minds. One being that Americans feared Nazis infiltration (American and the Holocaust: Exploring US Responses) The Nazis and their ability to invade was unprecedented during this time period and their main targets were Jews and non- Aryans thus, Americans feared that by raising immigration quotas and allowing an abundant amount of Jewish refugees into America it would set off Nazis and they would attack America at its heart. Along with fears of infiltration there were financial fears that Americans were facing which lead to the govt.
As Albert Einstein once said, “The world is too dangerous to live in, not because of the people who do evil, but because of the people who sit and let it happen.” The horrific accounts told of the Holocaust, inside the ghettos, symbolize the negligence shown to others during World War II. World War II started with Germany attacking Poland on September 1, 1939 (World War II in Europe). Many citizens of the surrounding countries were terrified because of the horrendous acts they heard of. Hitler took over and tried to kill as many Jews as he could. The word ghetto did not originate during the time of the Holocaust; ghettos have been referred to the sixteenth century (Ghettos).

The other reason Jews struggled so desperately to survive was not to merely see the light of another day, but to see the Germans become enraged by their "resistance", living. Several camps resisted through violent ways which is what greatly impacted the Germans and the concentration or death camps located there. He would do that using Concentration Camps that were brutal and incomprehensible. Concentration Camps during the Holocaust had a huge outcome of Jews and the situations they faced because of their religion. That’s not OK. In the late 1930’s when Concentration camps started to grow in Poland and other countries surrounding that area, they were on average killing over 1000 people each day/week. Why was killing so many innocent Jews necessary to Hitler?
