(1). they were a band that was unlike any other. Not only did they sing and write most of their own music, but they also played their own instruments, unlike many of the bands during that time. It wasn't just their music that drew people in, but it was their personality. The boys always seemed to be laughing and joking around with one another.
This band influenced so many people around the world that to this day they are considered the best band in rock and roll history. Beatlemania was created in the 1960’s, similar to Bieber Fever, it was a term that described The Beatles fandom and their love and devotion towards the band. The Beatles are the most successful music group of all time and even if they were just known as any other music group they would have secured their place in history, but they were more than just a group. The Beatles changed the way everyone hears music. They could send a message of happiness and peace and make millions of people happy and have hope for the future. The Beatles formed in the early sixties, in the early years it was just John Lennon, Paul McCartney, and George Harrison with a few other members who were in the band. The guitarists John Winston Lennon, b. Oct. 9, 1940; James Paul McCartney, b. June 18, 1942; and George Harrison, b. Feb. 25, 1943; and the drummer Ringo Starr, b. Richard Starkey, July 7, 1940, were all born and raised in Liverpool. Lennon and McCartney had played together in a group called The Quarrymen. With Harrison, they formed their own group, The Silver Beatles, in 1959, and Starr joined them in 1962. As The Beatles, they developed a local following in Liverpool clubs, and their first recordings, "Love Me Do" (1962) and "Please Please Me" (1963), quickly made them Britain's top rock group.
