The Vietnam flag is all red with a five-pointed star in the middle. The red symbolizes blood and revolution. The five pointed star means the five elements of populace, as in, peasants, workers, intellectuals, traders, and soldiers.
Geography
Vietnam is located in southern eastern Asia. It borders The Gulf of Thailand, Gulf of Tonkin, and South
China Sea. China, Cambodia, and Laos are alongside of it. According to research, 3 quarters of Vietnam is made up of mountainous and hilly regions. 44% tropical forests, mountains cover up 40%, and no more than 20% for level land. The coastline is 3,444 km. It is Tropical in south; monsoonal in north with hot, rainy season. In mid-May to mid-September it is warm, dry season. In the south and north, there is flat delta; in the far north and northwest there is central highlands and hilly mountains.
History
Vietnam becomes independent in 1945, announced Ho Chi Minh. In 1946, The French seeks colonial power, sparking a war. 8 years later, Viet Minh forces attack an isolated French military outpost and
French government agrees to peace talk. The war got started because the U.S military claimed that two navy destroyers got fired with Vietnamese patrol boats.
200,000 American combat troops arrive in South Vietnam.
58,000 Americans died.
1975, President Duong Van Minh surrenders, and South Vietnam take control of the whole country. 1979 Vietnam attacks Cambodia. 1989 Vietnamese troops left

Cambodia. The communist party still remains as the leading force is Vietnam society.

Vietnam. The most places visited in Vietnam are like National parks of Vietnam, World
Heritage Sites, Man and the Biosphere Programme.
