The Good, The Bad, and the Teachers
Teachers can make a difference in a student’s life and as an upcoming teacher I would like to make an impact on my student’s lives as well. In my opinion a teacher is one of the most valuable parts in a child’s life. Teachers share their knowledge about the world and content that a child must know to succeed in the world and as a teacher the ultimate goal is the belief in every child being successful. In my past I have had many teachers, some are wonderful and some awful but some teachers can be acceptable.

I was in seventh grade when one of my favorite teachers inspired me to become a teacher. Let’s call her Mrs. English. Mrs. English was a very nice teacher that I actually did learn a lot from. Coming from a small town Mrs. English knew my parents as well and they actually grew up together also. She has also taught my older brother that was a few years older than I was. Mrs. English has a wonderful personality and she would take the time to help you understand the content. Popeye. I named him Mr. Popeye because he had a strong personality and he was a muscular man that had strong opinions about the education system. Mr. Popeye was my professor twice, once in an Ethic-culture reading course and also in an English 300 course. This is the kind of teacher that will tell you the truth. He was not shy to say anything especially about the education system. In my opinion the “tell it like it is” trait is what makes a good teacher. This trait also let students to trust, for instance Mr. Popeye, which can result in goodness for student- teacher relationships. I did learned a lot from Mr. Popeye as he was giving his students the inside details of teaching and the educational system and it is one of many teachers that I could just listen to with my full attention.
