In the initial act the ghost represents Hamlet; Hamlet is being disturbed by his father's remembrance. His father is clothed in body armor which represents “war” and battle. The Ghost is an ideal building block to demonstrate the theme of Hamlet which is “Tragedy”. The Ghost informs Hamlet that Claudius (The Uncle of Hamlet) murdered Old Hamlet (Hamlets Father) which is the Ghost he's depicting. Hamlet's father’s ghost, hard-pressed him to eagerly face his families misfortune and avenge the death of his beloved father. However, Hamlet understands that the ghost is deceiving him one way or another. Hamlet questions if the ghost is taking advantage of him during his time of sorrow. The clear act of symbolism portrayed in this act is the ghost perhaps being the devil himself. Hamlet desires to be sure that everything he is doing is right, so he sets up a brilliant and witty play to display and prove that Claudius is the culprit of his father's death. Hamlet would like to shed light on Claudius's culpability. This symbol proves Hamlet is now in a good state and is responsible for his actions. The root cause of all her issues was the death of her love as well as her beloved father's death. The emotion of the song perfectly states Ophelia's emotions through the lyrics. Nevertheless, Claudius attempted to poison his nephew Hamlet with his poisoned wine. As an alternative, the Queen drinks the poisoned wine and dies tragically. Following this particular event, Hamlet murders Claudius in a rage of his wrongdoing and war strikes the castle and numerous deaths occur due to this deed. The families’ crisis ends in more tragedy.
