Many People, including Bible Scholars, are fascinated with The End Time Prophecy. Since Pope Benedict XVI resignation in 2013, questions pertaining to The Final Pope develop around St. Malachy, an Irish Saint, who experienced a vision; describing the reign of the final remaining Catholic Popes following Pope Celestine II down to the very last one, Peter the Roman. However, Malachy’s prophecies dated after 1590 are very diffident to match considering they were hidden in the Vatican Archives for more than four centuries, many believe they were tampered with. Jorge Mario Bergoglio could be The Final Pope for three main reasons: St Malachy’s Prophecies are fulfilling, The Shocking resignation of Pope Benedict XVI, and changes in the Catholic Church that could lead people to believe that The Great Tribulation and Destruction of Rome is near. According to his biographer, St.Bernard of Clairvaux, in his book” Life of Saint Malachy; St. Malachy was a Irish Saint; Archbishop of Armagh from the 12th Century, who had a gift of healing & prophecy. By the Inspiration of the Lord, St.Malachy experienced a vision in 1139 A.D of all the Historical Popes from Celestine II down to the very last one named Petrus Romanus (Peter the Roman). According to many studies supposedly the numbers of remaining Catholic Popes counted 111 in St.Malachy’s original Latin phrase, or some say 112. Before the 1959, the documents were given to Pope Innocent II to store them in the Vatican Secret Archieve 4 centuries long, amazingly St.Malachy’s recorded work was re-discovered in 1950 & published in 1959 by Arnold De Wyon & he entitled his book “ Lignum Vitae”;St. Malachy even predicted his own death on November 02, 1148 A.D, Pope Benedict XVI; at age 85, was elect... ... middle of paper ... ... who gives us his spirit of peace, the poor man who wanted a poor church..”(Pope Frances). According to Encyclopedia Britannica; St. Frances of Assisi original name baptized was Giovanni Francis DI Pietro Bernado.“Furthermore, in naming himself after Assisi, Bergoglio branded himself after an Italian (Roman) priest whose original name was Francesco di Pietro (Peter) di Bernardone — literally, Peter the Roman.( Prophesies of the End Times) “(Petrus Roman),who pastures his sheep until these things are finished and the City of Seven Hills will be destroyed”. ...(Horn & Putnam 82) Rev 16:19-20” The Great city was divided into three parts(refers to Jerusalem);(Swaggart 2208), and the cities of the nations fell, and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.”(2208).
