The Elimination of Dumping Depot

Elimination of the dumping depot in Village 3 is one of the critical issues should be discussed and figured out the solution shortly in order to improve the waste management over city. Due to the waste management implementation, government has announced to public to be aware about the way to keep clean in each village, but people in village 3 who lack of waste management information from the right source and just follow the neighbor’s path throwing waste at Seasmeas Gas Company until it became a habit which affect to both environmental friendly, and public order. Thus the Cintri Company suggests to the Sangkat authority to eliminate this dumping depot. Therefore, to eliminate this dumping depot, there are three main key factors to be solved. First, both local authority and Cintri Company must have strongly commitment in collaborating to eliminate the dumping depot. Second, resources such as financial & in-kinds support are needed to comply for this implementation activities. Third, the people participation is also required.

Geographically, Village 3 is closely to a market area. In this village, there are 113 households, 536 people in total, and 286 females. The majority of the downstairs houses are operating the small or medium businesses whereas the upstairs houses mostly are rental houses, cleaner of Chenla University, and people who work at night. There are two alleyways which most of the houses access. Cintri’s truck cannot access to collect the waste house by house. In conclusion, due to the long time practice, and habit of villagers who always bring waste to Seasmeas Gas Station until it become a big dumping depot which affect to the environmental friendly and public order. As a result, Cintri company suggested to eliminate this dumping depot since there are two places of depot nearby this village; however, this implementation of dumping depot elimination need involvement from three main factors such as local authority and Cintri Company, financial and in-kinds resources, and residence participants.
