A cell phone is a portable telephone which uses cellular network to receive and make calls and send and receive text messages. Cell phones emit signals via radio waves which are comprised of radio frequency energy; it is a form of electromagnetic radiation. Electromagnetic radiation is energy letting out waves like behaviour as it is travelling through space. Examples of electromagnetic radiation are microwaves, x-rays and visible light. The electromagnetic spectrum consists most of the colours we world normally see in a rainbow colours like red, orange, green, yellow, blue, indigo and violet. When we put our cell phones into our pocket or anywhere near our body we are letting a lot of radiations enter into our bodies and these radiations can cause us human’s health risks. The microwave we use to heat our food up and the cell phones that we use they are all part of the electromagnetic spectrum.
