Abstract. Bullying has developed serious problems in several schools that range from students who are in kinder all the way to high school. Regardless of age differences, students are being bullied on a daily bases causing students to become depressed, have low self-esteem, isolate themselves, don’t want to attend school, and commit suicide. As a result, school administrators need to find the proper procedure that will help eliminate the issue. The purpose of this paper is to combine two different articles that explain the determination of how effective school based anti-bullying interventions programs are.
Purpose
School Administrators are constantly advertising and stating that they will do their best to ensure that students are provided with a welcoming, safe, and healthy environment for all students to learn and grow. As of today, it’s seems hard to believe because so many students are constantly being bullied on a daily basis. Although anti-bully intervention programs have taken place, several parents forget to ask the following questions: What kind of anti-bullying intervention programs are in play, and how effective are they? Two different articles are used to provide information based upon studies in determining whether or not school based anti-bullying intervention programs are effective, and if so which ones and how.
Method

...having such a hug impact on students, it’s the school administrator’s job to provide services that will help eliminate the issue. Although these two articles clearly show evidence that some anti bullying intervention programs have created an effective impact on students, this doesn’t mean that all anti-bully prevention programs are effective. Most importantly, these two articles show that what may work for some schools might not work for other ones. For those anti-bully intervention programs that are working should be left alone and be continued to use. As they say, “Why change something that already works.” As for those intervention programs that do not work can be looked upon for some modification that can lead to improvement. The only thing that schools can do to determine how effective their anti-bully programs are is by doing monthly or yearly investigations.
