Name: Water Pollution Instructor: Date: Abstract Water pollution is a serious problem for the whole world. It threatens the health, humans, plants, and animals. As the world became more industrial and smaller due to communications and trade, unplanned and dangerous dumping has contributed to the problem of sea pollution. All water pollution is dangerous to the health of living organisms, but sea and river pollution can be especially harmful to the health of humans and animals. Rivers and seas are used as main sources of clean water by populations all over the world.
Due to pollution, Earth’s overall health is at risk. Entire ecosystems are being damaged and Earth’s inhabitants are in danger. Factors like improper waste disposal and lack of recycling cause harm to the planet and exponentially deteriorate the Earth into disrepair. Pollution is especially
Global warming is displacing many species out of their natural environment. The root cause of the aforementioned concerns is that human action negatively affects the environment. Western culture abuses the Earth in the name of making life desire’s conveniently available. If environmental destruction continues at the current rate, then the Earth will not survive for future generations. There are many different strategies to solve environmental destruction.
When a work force or group of people start to clear out a forest, they are taking all food and resources from organisms that live in the region and wiping out the homes of many insects and other tree dwellers. Another main cause for negative effects on the ecosystem is pollution. There are many types of pollution, simply including water pollution, air pollution, and land pollution. Pollution is caused on a day to day basis, whether it be littering or even burning coal. Littering can harm organisms by entanglement or toxic hazards.
And if the land cannot recover, then all the habitats in that area are gone forever. This means disaster for many little and big creatures alike. But it doesn’t just hurt the habitats in that area. It can also affect habitats miles away. The more soil erosion, the more soil that gets washed into rivers and streams, as this sediment gets dropped, it can cause build ups and destroy habitats in the water and the land around the water. The sediments can also carry damaging chemicals that were used on the land into the water and poison the water source (“The Facts.”).
However, except for offering human copious amount of cheaper food, factory farming is an unhealthy agricultural practice to both human and the environment. Factory farming contributed to serious pollution problems, the animal treatments are cruel and it has restricted the business opportunity of traditional farms and its workers by occupying their markets. Therefore, I strongly support that factory farming should be banned. First of all, factory farming creates much pollution on our environment. It produces livestock in great amount would need many resources, and make a lot amount of waste at the same time.
When acid rain combines with water in major bodies of water, it not only destroys wildlife habitat, it destroys our drinking water. An aquatic ecosystem is very dependent on each and every aspect within itself. Once one species dies off, others that depend on it, will eventually begin to die off also.
This causes extreme loss of wildlife. The pollution of water is a huge issue, with sewage discharge into waterways. Factories and mines are the main contributors to the pollution of water. The higher the population, ...
There would be no clear distribution of the seasons. Deforestation leads to lack of oxygen in the environment, leading to no production of oxygen finally leading to extension of many species. Refusing to recycle the waste materials would poison the food and water we use, leading to our death. We will be the cause
INTRODUCTION Ocean pollution is a serious issue that is harming both land and sea inhabitants. It is dropping economic levels and destroying the food chain by killing off the predators’ prey. The great pacific garbage patch is one of the world’s biggest garbage gyres, filled mostly with plastic and other tough biodegradable waste. Even though we don’t live in the ocean it still affects us in many ways, and before we clean up the ocean we must find a way to stop people from littering first. What is ocean pollution?
