The Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, CA. has been known as the “Happiest Place on Earth” since the gates of this magical park opened up in the summer of July 1955. The popularity of this theme park rapidly grew, when it first opened, an individual was able to enjoy a Disney day for as low as eight dollars. Every time I step foot in this area it’s as if I’m taking a step into the future. Buzz Lightyear’s Astro Blasters does a great job making it seem as if he’s taking you in a mission through outer space with Star Command with an objective to kill the evil Zurg. Star Tours also does a magnificent job adding to the futuristic theme of this side of the park. This attraction sends guests to the Star Wars universe, through the world of Endor where they come in contact with the Galactic Empire. I would say that Space Mountain is the most known ride in all of Tomorrowland. This dark coaster blasts you off from mother Earth and takes you through outer space not knowing what direction that you’ll be going next. All you’re able to see are tiny little stars and that triggers the rider’s adrenaline to rush. The Galactic Grill is a fast food restaurant located in front of the Star Wars Launch Bay. They serve meals such as burgers, salads, sandwiches, and desserts from Galaxies Far, Far Away. This is the perfect place to grab quick bite and enjoy a show as you’re eating. The Star Wars Launch Bay is a show that trains visitors to be young jedis and then tests their skills as they battle against the sith lord, Darth Maul.
