The Disney Parks blog is a huge hit for visitors to get an inside look at what they may experience at one of the parks or perhaps on the Disney Cruise line. The bloggers provide insights and updates about every aspect of the Magic Kingdom itself. There are subsections dedicated specifically to each park, sections strictly geared towards dining, and even sections for character updates. However, the purpose of the blog is not simply to inform the reader of fun things to do at Disney Parks, but to use just that to inspire the viewer to plan a trip to the magical resort. Pictured above, the banner shows the gardens in front of the Walt Disney World Park entrance in full bloom. The brilliant colors of the flowers are attention-grabbing due to the more paled and subtle blue tones in the rest of the blog. This allows the image of the parks to appear even more spectacular than they may have before. The blue background fades lighter and lighter as the reader scrolls down to the bottom of the webpage. This also allows for the information presented in the blog posts and their pictures to stand out. For example, once having gone down far enough, the focus shifts from the main picture of the entrance of the park itself to more specific attractions that are unique to the Disney experience. The article on the right shows a Chinese New Year celebration in Epcot, thus expressing to a reader that there are even seasonal attractions that one might miss should they not plan to vacation at the theme park.
