European Exploration and Imperialism was a major development in the 1500s and continued shaping the world throughout the 1700s. In this time between 1500 and 1700 there were many changes to the world as it was known. Some of these changes included improved trade routes, broader views on all subjects, expansion, and even new inventions. The development of European exploration and Imperialism is a positive development due to the fact that though it did hurt some cultures it brought the world further in technology, secular thought, and connection between continents. Imperialism has not always been a positive development for the world. There have been times where there were many negative aspects. The first is the force that was used to conquer or seize these lands. The first way is through economic growth. With all the new trade routes developed and all the new cultures introduce this became a great haven for trade. The Europeans along with the rest of the people in the world were being introduced to stuff they had never seen before. This aloud for abundant trade and many new developments. Though economic growth was one of the largest benefits, there also was the growth of secularism. The growth of secularism was a positive development because it allowed people to start thinking outside the box. Secularism had a huge part in finding new inventions and ways of travel. The world as a whole has benefited from this time in history. Every country that was effected by the European imperialism has benefited in the long run. The country that has benefited the most is the United States of America, it went from a non-existent country to a world power in less than two centuries.
