What is culture; culture is defined as the beliefs, customs, arts, etc., of a particular society group, place or time (Webster’s). In society worldwide culture is the foundation of who we essentially are in life, such as traditions and behaviors which are portrayed by certain communities and are passed from one generation to the other. It identifies the lifestyle and pursuits that are practiced in the group of people we interact with in our society. One country who has interesting core values is Canada.

Greeting is very important and normally a kiss on the right cheek than left cheek is given or a firm handshake while making eye contact. Although in certain parts of the country there are conservative people as is in the United States. Depending on the area the Canadians are located there attitude differentiates from others, yet very proper. Like in America, New Yorkers are known for being rude and a very high paced environment due to the fact that everyone is always in a rush to get somewhere. In other parts of the states such as Tennessee, people tend to be mellow and much more inviting. Normally the most popular greeting in the US is just a firm handshake.
